Nope. You have to file it. It is best to get the whole noob case. CB is interchangeable. I have a 390 in the mail from josh. Mine seems to have the same CG lever issue where it is not level with the surrounding metal when closed.

I could only find chronograph version of 7750. What's in a pam 104? 7750 with chrono module removed?

I am looking into the possibility of replacing asia7750, non chrono, inside a pam104 noob, with a Swiss movement. Are they drop in replacement? Where to buy these Swiss movement?

one has to square with the fact that this is not an accurate reproduction in terms of caseback and dial. But it's not important to me. Is this a well made replica? Column wheel chronos are sought after and this one has a good one (makes up for dial inaccuracy). If you have such a nice movement from seagull, might as well show it off (hence display caseback). I am inclined to pull the trigger on this.

I was thinking oiling the rotor area (noisy) and regulating the watch to couple of secs a day. I was not thinking of stripping down complete. it's a new watch. anyway, what is the general recommendation? (i intend to keep this watch for long)

Considering a noob 112. I am wondering if the CG is square like the new 104. Also is the font of "A" in PANERAI correct? Sometimes the horizontal line in A is a little lower. Any other issues? Thanks.

I ordered the exact watch from ebay. There is a huge thread on watchuseek about these 4000s. They have them at Macy's. The hour makers are set in 3D and look nice. The fact that there are no lcd's, all white markers, and steel band makes it pretty classy, in a futuristic way. Besides it is solar (no issue of breaking water seal during battery change), and atomic time sync. Looks high quality (if Swiss were to make half as good as this they will be pricing it through the roof). Just got tired af mechanical watches never showing exact time, and needing constant intervention.

Any suggestions?
