  1. I have a WM9TT SUB and one of the link screws has come out and been lost. I've seen a few different screws on ebay but does any one know what size/dimensions I need?
  2. Hello, I am thinking of buying a rose gold watch and have whittled down my selection to the the Patek RG Nautilus or an Audemars RG Jumbo. (I think the ROO would be too big for me) I would like to wear either on a leather strap. I prefer the Nautilus but I am concerned about the quality of the rep-strap and there doesnt appear to be an obvious replacement. With the Jumbo, there is always AP-Bands with their lovely hornback straps. Does anyone have any thoughts on good straps for the Nautilus, or an experience of either of these watches. What do people prefer? If anyone has any pics of theirs - or any RG watches I'd be interested to see.
  3. Hi guys, I'm about to pull the trigger on a new watch and I'm really liking the rose gold nautilus. What experience do people have with aftermarket leather straps. Any recommendations of where to shop for one that fits nicely or does anyone have any pictures of any nice combinations with the rose gold version?
  4. Does anyone know if there are any plans for another group buy of the TC YM? I've just seen 2 go in the sales section for highly inflated prices so there is obviously demand.
  5. I bought a watch off this seller and wanted to recommend them. The watch traveled safely across the atlantic and arrived under a week. A great buying experience and highly recommended.

  6. Watchmeister - thats not a bad way to look at it. There's the famous MBK guy on the ground floor there. I bought an AP off him last time I was there but I dont think he sold straps. I'll have to have a re-look. Tessa - Is the famous HKTan in Thailand? I'll have to contact him before I go and see if it's possible to meet up.
  7. I'm heading off to Thailand in a week and was wondering if anyone would recommend any spots to pick up some good straps for my PAM 177. It'd be quite nice to handle a strap before purchase and I thought maybe the infamous MBK?
  8. Thanks for your help guys - It's much appreciated!! I'm going to take your advise and have a watch smith remove the stem for me. I'm off to Thailand in a week or so and I'll pick up a cheap MBK rep to have a practice taking apart. I'll let you know how the rest of the repair goes. Oh, and there is no gunk in the crown - just a few scratches from the guard pin and a funny photo angle/shadow.
  9. Hello RWG, I have a small problem I am hoping some of the experts here can help me with. I have a PAM 177 i'm in love with but unfortunately, on winding, the crown stem broke :-( I believe this has a genuine crown which I am keen to salvage. I've decided that this is probably the time to delve a little deeper into this hobby and make a repair. I've bought a case back remover and a screwdriver set and taken off my first caseback. My questions are: Is it possible to attach a new stem? If so, where can I purchase one and how do I go about attaching it? If I was to upgrade the movement what would people recommend and where can I acquire such? Finally, is taking the face and hands from the movement a big job? It's worth noting, that I am no expert and my diagnosis may be entirely wrong and if this is the case, any guidance would be appreciated. Please see attached picture for reference.
  10. thanks for the info, its appreciated. i'd seen a few RO chronos on the dealer websites but with further investigation it looks like they have major flaws ie (city of sails case being the same size as ROO) Its a shame, the RO is a beautiful watch and slightly better suited to a smaller wrist. Can anyone tell me if there are any nice RO or jumbos in rose gold?
  11. I popped into a AP dealer recently and fell in love with the brushed rose gold cases and bezels on some APs. I've been looking through old posts to try and guage which APs stand up to scrutiny and try and see what the general consensus is when it come to the rose gold APs. I'd love to hear some opinions from some of the AP experts (or any AP fans/owners) Is the Don Ramon any good as rep? I've read that it has a better gold coating and that the Don Bamon flaw has been fixed. If so, who carries the newer models. I really like the smaller RO especially the chronographs. Is there a good quality RO Chrono in rose gold? Or for that matter any good rose gold RO? Are there any other recomended brushed rose gold watches/models that people like? Thanks for your help/opinions.
  12. Does anyone know if there will be a rose gold version of this watch?
  13. ok. Thanks for the reply. I'm guessing thats to do with the chrono placement? Thanks for the update.
  14. Hello, About a half year ago I was in Thailand to compete in a Thaiboxing match and whilst in the MBK center I stumbled accross the infamous MBK rep dealer on the bottom floor. I was Seriously impressed with the quality of his reps and, in particular, the AP's caught my eye. Before long I was the owner of a new ROO Safari. Whilst waiting and choosing my rep I got chatting to a lovely american chap about the obvious quality differences in these reps and the ones on the other floors and he proceeded to tell me about the rep community and this website. Upon returning to England I had a quick delve into this website and thanked my lucky stars for stumbling accross MBK. Well, this week my MUCH BELOVED ROO safari got stolen from the boxing gym and I'm looking for a replacement. Rather than spending more money on the same watch I figured it time for a change. I've been to look at a few AD and have quite fallen for the Rose Gold RO Chrono's. They appear slightly smaller and the rose gold has really caught my eye. My question is - Is there a good quality Rose Gold RO? Most off the posts appear to be about the ROO. There has been some mention of a new gold plating style similar to the PVD, used on the newer ROOs - is the same used on the ROs and what is the overal finish like? If not a RO then I thought maybe a Don Ramon. What's the quality of these like? I do fancy something smaller but if the quality is better maybe I'll go for that. Please help with my decision - i feel naked without my watch.
  15. Does anyone know if there is a Rep of the AP - Royal Oak Sachin Tendulkar, Rose Gold?
  16. I've been talking to PT (Precious Time) and he seams both very helpful and to have a good reputation on here. I think I'm going to purchase one in the next few days, so I'll be sure to put some pictures up on this thread.
  17. Beautiful Pictures - you have a real talent. The watch looks lovely - which version did you get Japanese or ETA and is that the quartz movement?
  18. I am thinking of purchasing a Chanel J12 watch for my girlfriend and was wondering if anyone here had any experience with the different types and quality on offer. There appears to be 3 different types of ceramic offered: standard full ceramic - on the quartz version; "scratch resistant" ceramic on the automatic version; and Korean extra hard ceramic on the "ultimate" version. I would prefer a quartz movement and definitely don't want the extra bling that comes with the "Ultimate" but am I worried that will leave me with the weakest quality of ceramic. I don't want my Girlfriend embarrassed by one which is easily recognized from 3ft. Any help in this matter would be MUCH appreciated. I need to pull the trigger before her Bday which is looming faster by the day :-S Regards.
  19. Has anyone come across or ordered from this site for Dials and Bezels? http://www.limitedwatches.net
  20. Can anyone tell me if it is still possible to get the Big Bang with the polished ceramic bezel? I've looked on the websites of the 2 most popular dealers recomended here and they dont appear to stock it? Thanks.
  21. http://www.amatorywatches.com/ Has anyone had any experience with these guys - they appear to have a large selection of watches on offer.
