Hi everyone, a bit under a year ago I purchased a VAC modded 3717 from another forum member & after a couple of months of very limited wear, the crown seems very hard to rotate to set/adjust time and the chrono buttons are very hard to press in as well. I know VAC is very backed up as I emailed him on servicing it, but I was curious if I would have any luck taking it to a local repair/watch shop? Would they be able to fix the issues or is it advised not to & just send it away instead? First IWC rep here so wanted to try to get some info on what I can do. Thanks!

Hi all, I've really been wanting a Hublot for some time now. My question is, are the reps of the 40mm good? I've read the V6 for the BB is a pretty solid choice, but haven't seen much on the 40mm versions. My reason for wanting the 40mm is the obvious one of having smaller wrists. I was looking at the 40mm's on Puretime as of now. Anyone have any good input on these? Secondly, are mods & certain upgrades even available for such a watch? If not, does anyone have any better recommendations? Sorry for all the questions, appreciate the help! Thanks.

Thanks both for the advice. I took a quick peak this morning in the trade section - seems it's rare that IWC's come up often & when they do, they seem to go fast. I'll keep an eye open though - I'm feeling a bit impatient to wait a long while for a watch from Vac, though I keep hearing amazing things.

So, this is kinda a random question, but I know there is a lot of European folks on this forum, so figured I'd toss it out there. I'll be in Barcelona in early October & would love to be able to see the Real v Barcelona game that Sunday (I'm a huge soccer fan here in the US & figured this is a once in a lifetime treat almost) - yet, I'm having a very tough time finding any kind of tickets online. Has anyone ever gone to a big game like this? I know most tickets are released to season ticket holders first so I figured I'd ask. Any tips? Possible to get tickets from scalpers or anywhere in Barcelona when I'm there during the week before? Will this game probably be sold out & no chance of even getting tickets? Any info would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Hi all, New member here - I've been a fan of watches for sometime now & have quite a few gens, but this will be my first time trying out a reps. So, as for my first rep purchase I think I want to go with the 3717 as I love IWC. I am leaning towards going with Puretime for my purchase. Does anyone have any other recommendations that might be better or anything? I've seen so many posts regarding different mods & versions on certain watches, I want to be sure I'm getting the best of the 3717 world. Secondly, how do mods usually work? Just send them into the mod & explain what you need or what? Is it easier for me to buy one from Puretime & try to get the mods done for myself, or should I hold out & look for a used one with mods done in the FS section, or maybe post in the WTB section? Sorry for all the questions, appreciate the help! Thanks.
