Found those promo images of Craig with the bosses a big cringey, but that is a nice Seamaster! Pretty cool. How do you guys feel about wearing movie special editions or whatever? Prefer it or find it a bit tacky or what? Depends on the movie?
Usually I'm 100% against any branding like that but in this case it's done very tastefully and I would have no problem wearing it.

And the closed caseback! Jackpot.
-
I like the face design very much. Looking forward to some different dial variations.

I would say some of the newer Omega's. I think they are a great watch for the money with excellent movements. Maybe one of the new Aqua Terras or Seamster 300 Master Co-Axial

You're right there are not many. I think it's because many of the real high end rep watches have very complex movements that there is just no good way to replicate. Others are not that desirable. Most people like sportier watches for daily wear.
Keep looking, you may be surprised with what you find.

Once at a car dealership the sales manager asked me about my 177. He said he had a 111 and wondered why I don't have mine on the rubber strap. I then had him pull up the Heroic18 website on his computer and he ordered a strap. We had a good time.
It's funny but the only time anyone ever noticed what watch I was wearing was in a dingy amusement arcade at the seaside here in the UK.
I was waiting for my daughter to finish feeding coppers into a machine and I had my hand up on the machine just resting it there.
A total stranger walked over with a complete at utter look of disbelief on he's face, mouth open muttering... "That's a Paul Newman, that's a Paul Newman"!
I looked at him, put my finger to my lips and whispered "Shhhhhh" and winked at him. He smiled at me, slowly nodded his head and off he went.
Absolute truth.
Hahahahaha! That's a good reaction on your part. That guy probably wet himself.

I can't wait. Been dreaming of a titanium Submariner recently and this will probably be the closest I'll get. Looks like they knocked it out of the park (even though there are a few corrections). Price is pretty steep though. Not out of reach but if each new rep costs you $500 the money will start adding up way quicker.

Wow, that looks awesome. Good luck

That does look sick though!

I am too poor to comment in this thread.

Very nice. Is it gen?
It's sad that Omega removed the ripples off the dial for the ceramic version
-
Excellent review, ww, and I'm looking forward to seeing the pics. Shame about the bracelet; I wonder if the gen is like that? After all, Omega made a big deal out of its revised Moon Watch, which is basically the same as the last Speedmaster Professional, but with a screwed bracelet and a fancier box.
That's exactly how the CrPO links are too.

I didnt get the thread until I saw this pic:
Like I told Stacey via PM: looks identical to a genuine MC dw.
Janeto: get to work! -
The two I own, but gen pics. So bad ass.
Actually just ordered the submersible rubber for the PAM too so it will really be black on black on black.

Found my old (10 years) Gen stainless omega speedmaster chrono. Been missing for about 5 years!
But... Why?
-
I know this isn't the topic but I've always liked the big red better then the PN anyway.
-
Amazing. It looks clean... gen. Will these be included in the forthcoming batches of the V6 or saving for V7?
-
Amazing! Really looks fantastic.
- Movement oiled and regulated + jewels added
Now I'm panicking my Chronopassion doesn't have enough jewels!
-
Yeah I have black lume on Hublot king power. Worthless
-
Just get a real pair
-
If that's not a genuine dial, then it's the best aftermarket black dial I've ever seen.
yep..100% gen...
Seems to be no question. Is there an obvious tell?
