Concepta i wish you and your wife all the strength you need in this difficult period.
About the smoking i have to agree with you. I smoked 2 packs and was diagnosed with cancer December 2007 .
I don't know if there is a direct link between the smoking and the cancer but one thing is for sure it isn't healthy.
I saw people coming in and out of the MRI and CT scan area with oxygen tanks attached to there wheel chairs.
It's better to quit that's for shure.

It was fun today , i remember how to shoot a punch fade but ended up hooking it into the Forrest.
After 18 holes i ended up 14 on my "old" home course.
Short game and feeling for putting completely gone but it was fun end the best part is my femur didn't hurt.
@ Nanuq it didn't happen when i jumped out of a plain. ( funny story btw )
To keep a long story short it's i well recovered area were a bone transplant was done after the removal of a malignant tumor.
Operation toke place in the end of 2007 and i'm 100% fine now.

Today our son leaves on a rugby camp for the weekend so my girlfriend and i have the time for a round of golf.
It's been quit a while since a played the game. Coming from a handicap of 3,9 i'm happy if i can end up with 18 over.
Let's hope my new handicap stays in place
Wish me luck

@Viennawatch,
that's exactly the same as i thought before i saw the result of a good AR finishing on your rep.
And i doesn't cost that much to have the AR coating.

To my opinion the AR on 183 should be there.
I had a real nice 183 without any AR , which i sold half a year ago , and after i got the AR on my PAM 11H i wished i still had it and have a AR
job done on it by FineDD ( caruwe here on RWG )
Here is an example of his work

It's a PAM from DSN don't know for sure if the dial and hands are also originally from DSN but the lume is excellent.
It's powered by a gen ETA swan neck movement with ( incorrect engravings on the movement for this version 111H )
The crystal is DSN and it just came back form a AR job done by FineDD ( has it's own section on RWI )
This how the crystal and CG pin looked BEFORE the AR finishing of FineDD
The watch was bought 3 years ago from Tourby.
By the wat FineDD also polished the lever pin.

Thanks guys.I'll come back with some better pictures this weekend.
I still can't catch the right look and feel in a image.
When you look at the dial at certain angles it's really amazing what the single sided AR does.

The PMWF and Ofrei pearl does it for me on my 1665 DRSD
Indeed it does shine a little too much for a vintage pearl but never the less it's still a nice combo
