  5. My 1680 got back from Tribal today. Tribal reshaped the total case did some outside shaping on the crown guards. Installed a gen 127 top had and now it's near to perfect . Some first quick and dirty shots Carpe Diem Cats

    Oil Bath

    Cleaned my bracelet with a spray used to clean machinery in a industrial enviroment. After that i used silicon spray. Tired tofind the dry chain lube but i could find it here in the Netherlands. The bracelet feels soft and moves smoothly. Carpe Diem Cats

  11. Nearly all of our collectors are trading companies who don't have a clue of movements or servicing them. I once asked a collector if he could assure me that the movement was a genuine swiss ETA movement and he told me, very honestly , that he can't tell the differnce between a fake and a genuine movement. A few claim to know the difference and assure you a gen ETA when you pay for it. If you want your movement serviced go to a rep friendly watchsmith and don't spent your money or ask one of our members for instance The Zigmeister or Domenico.   12. Wearing my Ebel 1911 18K today. Still need to buy a new croq on it but it get's to little wrist time to invest a 200 euro's for a strap. Might sell this one once or trade it for a gen GMT Carpe Diem Cats

  18. Frank, I already put it in isolation with maximum security. A good clean up during the next modding session on this one will do the job. One of the modds will be a gen 127 TOP HAT. Thanks for your offer and advise Carpe Diem Cats

  21. Looks good for less then 100 dollars. I while ago i had a simular one from Narikaa called it the entry level DRSD. Does the crown fit correctly or does it touch the crown gards ?? It seem to me that it isn't srwed in completaly. Wear it well Carpe Diem Cats

  25. @ avitt, i didn't do the modding myself. Could be that fine steel wool was used and left some particals behind. I tried to shoot a few pictures more of the rust. I will post them tonight. Carpe Diem Cats
