@nakortheblue,
Welcome to the club.
You definitly need the Ofrei pearl which makes a huge difference to the looks of your MBW
Could you show us some closer pics of the retaining ring and the bezel washer ?
Does your bezel turn like it should be or do you have to use a lot of force to get it turned.
Are there any pics of the movement , because as i'm told a MBW comes with a gen ETA movement.
By the wat to shave the crownguards you need more then a CapeCod

I'm a total noob on watch repair but i think you need a jewel press for it.
If i remember it well it's not a job you cando by hand and it needs quit some skills and tools.

Just came back from a holiday with my family to the land of Mickey Mouse near Paris.
One of the these days my 1680 RED will arrive after some serious and costly modifiactions.
One thing is 100% shure this isn't the MBW 1680 as it was 1 year ago.
Certainly the bezel construction is like Mickey Mouse would have made it.
The guy who modded my watch sanded down the retainingring and ordered a new bezel washer but still you nedd both hands to turn the bezel.
The gen insert sit's very poorly in the bezel so i aked him to glue it in.
Not to speek of the fact that it came with a fake ETA , very poor dial etc etc etc.
If this is the new MBW then it's certainly not a improvement.
I will post some pics if my modded 1680 RED with a very special dial when i got it.

Rolex AD's tell you that they are limited , which is strickly forbidden by law BTW, by Rolex to 10%.
Does Rolex have an agreement that they get all the cashregister info ??
If you tel them this they will answer how do i know your not working for Rolex as a mysterie shopper.
Simple solution is that you convince them your not and , certainly at this time , you will get much more then 10%.

I'm a noob but i know for certain that mounting a dial with glue isn't normal.
It might work but it's a very tricky operation.
You can buy dial feet which you can glue on the dial with epoxy.
