I am looking to pick up a skyland avenger but I don't know which version is the best option.

I noticed on several td'is websites that there is the h fac v4 and then the "newest noob" version

Any advice or thoughts are appreciated.

I think I got a good deal on it but now I want to take it to the next level. I want to upgrade the movement, gen bezel insert and maybe assembly?

I'm not an expert on these so I am appealing to the great minds here for guidance as to if its worth taking to the next level and what upgrades you would make first

I spent $600 for the watch and I had a yuki oyster 93153 in the parts box which looks pretty good I think

(The gen jubilee in some of the pictures was picked up on ebay for $250 but I think I'm sending it back because I belive it was for a Datejust as endlinks and bracelt will not fit gen spec soring bars....., would you keep it anyway??)

Great collection you have there mike.

I would stick with an automatic Asian 2824 or 2826 movement. Generally speaking the $300 rep is much better in quality and execution over the $100.

Spend the extra money if you can afford.

There are several different types of automatic movements. Some Asian clones some swiss etc etc. Usually the Asian eta clone is your best bet for value

Indeed. He does great work and turnaround time was very fast. Mike actually seems to care and looks over entire watch not just what youve sent it in for. If he notices something is not quite right he will let you know.

I've had my watches at other smiths and modders and they take months to get back and Usually something not fixed properly...

I have a superocean abyss chrono from toro as well. Great looking watch.

Now you guys have me wanting to build a 5513 and 1675. Great looking piece ceejay

Guys. I am looking for some suggestions on straps for my 6538. I have a yuki rivet for it but I don't love it with the faded insert

Currently on a thin leather nato with rolex buckle but I think I want something different.

All ideas welcome
