I'm Thinking about calling off the Whole Deal with Him after your feedback guys.
No word from him yet. I think I'm going to call my credit card company and get my money back.
what do you guys say?
I wouldn't go that far. It can be frustrating but he hasn't ripped me off so far.

First one was in early June - 183 DOA. Asked to swap to a 252 instead and that arrived DOA. Then I decided to just pay the difference to get an ROO RC...and that arrived DOA a week and a half ago. I am done buying new from dealers.
-
Nothing here either. 3 of my last 3 watches from him have been DOA and I'm not getting a response.
-
For a 187, a butch ammo strap.

It turns out the little girl singing, was faked too! She was lipsyncing to someone else's voice.

Great collection! Unlike you guys I have just started out! I have my modded 111h, but I love that watch. Madstal, I was wondering what type of panerai is to the left of the oris in your collection there? And where did you get it? I think thats going to be my second purchase!
I believe it's a 90.

And the next question is, how many straps is too many? Speaking of which, I guess Victoria's gone for good?
-
What do I put down if 1 is good and 1 is bad?
-
Canadapost is far worse...you should ask the guys I just sold watches to two weeks ago...only 1 of them has received it so far. And I paid for expedited shipping!
-
Thanks RG!!!
I tinkered around with V's 1:1 CG today. I like the way it turned out - now I just need a watch to put it on.
-
No idea to be honest...I picked it up slightly used and was told it was honey brown. It's been through a lot though and the colour's changed since I got it. I was going running with it to give it a nice patina...nothing ages leather like sweat!

Here's another of the TS ammo (no embossing).

You will not regret a Ted Su strap.

After we've all already purchased the available ones.

I am really loving the 87.
-
You need....
44mm standard luminor
44mm 1950 luminor
47mm luminor
44mm standard sub
44mm 1950 sub
47mm sub
45mm rad
47mm rad (one of the rads should have gold hands)

87 on bracelet.

Great news Rob, do you need another bottle of aged anejo tequila to relax with? Anyone going to Canada that can mail a bottle for me?
A month too late!

btw, if you are getting sick of daytime TV, a lot of people are raving about the tv series "mad men" that aired on AMC; the DVDs have been recently released...
or, if you're looking for something a little more racy, there is always californication (david duchovny is genius in that show)
Oooo, here's my recommendation for The Zigmeister if he hasn't already seen iit.
-
That's a great prognosis. Are you getting sick of daytime TV yet?
-
PO without hesitation.

Wow - they look great. I wish that someone would do a tutorial on the wire insulator fix. I would like to know how to do that...
It's really too simple to post a tutorial on it - just strip some wire and line the CG lever hole with the insulator you've removed. Put everything back together very patiently.
-
If I can add a suggestion... as your lever pins look not perfectly flush with the CG surface, I suppose they are a little too short...
Lever pins on gens aren't completely flush with the top surface (at least not that I've observed). The first 2 pics are of my gen.
The 87 is a little lower than it should though. Also, my measure of success isn't too stringent.
1. Did I break anything taking it apart? No? Woohoo!
2. Can I put everything back together? Yes? Yeehaw!
3. Do I have "spares" after everything is back together? Yes? Uh oh.
4. Does it still work?
5. Does it look worse than before? No? Whoopee!
6. Do I have to sheepishly email The Zigmeister?
-
I think I finally found a mod I'm somewhat successful at without ending with a sheepish email to The Zigmeister or a please help me post. I've been messing around with the finish of CGs and here's how they turned out compared to gen. I used the wire insulator method for a nice tight lever in the open position too.

I think black looks great with a white dial.
