Apparently I'm not actually. I didn't enjoy it one bit.

Perfect, it worked.
Note to self: springbar tools hurt when jammed into flesh.

Alright, dumb newbie question - I had no problems removing a bracelet with a springbar tool but before I pop the leather strap on, how do I go about removing the springbars when the strap is on? There's no hole in the strap like there is for the bracelet. What am I missing here?

My gym/physical activity watch will be a 195 w/ rubber strap.

I have a CC with a $500 credit limit I use for online transactions...I just fill it up as needed.

Ken, you know i love doing business with you, but she's gotten more from you lately than I've gotten for myself!
PS, she LOVES that Kelly bag. I think she likes it more than the Birkin. It hasn't left her arm since she got it.
The Kelly bag I ordered from Ken should be in the wife's little hands by tomorrow if tracking is accurate. I figure if I get her stuff at a 2:1 ratio, I should be ok.

Buy me a HBB in rose gold. It's your fault I got into this.

Hmm, I'll see if I can convince her to pose for a few boobie pics with the AT too.
She wants a 40mm pam next but choices are slim there...

I think you've set the record for 'most watches purchased by a newbie'
You mean 1 a week isn't normal?
-
Yeah, I thought it looked really good but wasn't sure. It really does seem that the pearls on the orange bezels are more consistent.

Upgraded.

After doing quite a bit of searching on RWG for threads on ladies' reps and not finding much, I thought I'd just take the risk of ordering a ladies Aqua Terra from Josh. It arrived mid week and the wife loves it - it looks great as far as my newbie eye can tell while comparing to pics of the gen online. The box around the date seems a little thicker than the gen but other than that, the crown feels great, bracelet feels good and the watch feels just as finished as the "ultimate" PO I have. The mother-of-pearl dial looks like the real thing too. Here's a pic of it by itself, and a his & hers pic.

Agreed. Canadapost must be one of the most inefficient carriers in the world.

I sent a PO back to Josh from Ontario, bit the bullet and paid the $50 with tracking. Sucks.
-
I enjoy it, but I'm a newbie so I'm not that critical (yet)...but after seeing how a pam looks on my wrist, I'm getting a gen.
My point and shoot cam takes horrible pictures of the watch so I haven't really bothered.

Yep, loving the lume...

Gotcha, thanks.

Dumb newbie question (I've searched) - where do I get silicone grease? Is there a special silicone grease to use or can I just pick something up from the auto parts store?
-
That's really really odd...I took my bezel insert off my orange PO and the pearl was indeed part of it. I had read that the glue used was poor on it so as preventive maintenance (go team loctite!), I heated up the bezel with a hairdryer, pried off the bezel insert with a sewing needle and the pearl was definitely part of it. Wish I had taken pics.
Edit: when I emailed Josh about the black PO I received with the bad pearl, he said that it was part of the bezel which confused me at the time but now I'm beginning to understand.
Another edit: LOL @ wankery engines comment.

Sweet. My track car is a 93 RX7
Even better! Section8 on this forum has an FD track car too.

My honey was a 1980 Mazda RX-7 white with a leather interior. I had it up until a few years ago, rubbed it with a diaper and treated it better than I treat my wife in many ways. Sold it because of storage and insurance issues and it broke my heart.
My track car is an 86 RX-7!

I ordered an Omega ladies aqua terra from Josh...I'll report as soon as I receive it.

My biggest addiction is a hobby that converts money into heat and noise...modding reps seems like a wise investment by comparison.

I've actually had a total stranger comment on it in an elevator while wearing a davidsen pam!
