Thanks. I knew I was taking a chance buying it like that. So it's the movement decoration that knackers it? Do you know what "version" this is by looking at it?

I just bought this from a dealer in Malaysia. He was asking about $660 to start and I got him down to $330 but he wouldn't budge from there. It came with a 1 year warranty. I would appreciate any comments on quality. It's an A7750 movement. I can't seem to find any other models like this with the smooth bezel on any TD sites. It's my first purchase other than from Andrew, still waiting for those. I mentioned Trusty Time and then he mentioned Andrew it made me feel a little more comfortable. This person does ship and has a very large selection. I had to kinda make him show me his "undisplayed" watches to get to the good stuff. BTW I am new to this so if I sound ignorant contribute it to my noobiness.

Bought this today in Malaysia. It's my first in person purchase not from a TD, Asian 7750 movement. Anyone see anything wrong? I paid 1000 ringits, about $330, he wanted 2000 to start off. Gave me a 1 year warranty, I found another one with a slight defect on the bezel and he immediatelly took a photo and sent it presumably to his source.

Hi I am new to this forum and also this hobby. I actually got interest in it from a different totally unrelated forum that has a huge thread about watches. I live in Japan, I am American. I travel all over Asia for my job and would like to personally visit any dealers. Does anyone know of any dealers in Japan, Singapore, or Malaysia? I have good contacts in Thailand from the other board I mentioned. It seems there are good contacts here to contact and order but I am worried about the mailing/customs problem. Any help is appreciated. Regards
