Can't see anything wrong with what Eddie is doing....( perhaps the genuine photo thing is wrong.....along with claiming that his is the best.....that's up to the buyer to decide).....Eddie is a great dealer........and is just making members aware that 'new' is just around the corner...nothing wrong with that.....same as me telling you that the 'correct' 45mm PO is coming....( this week)........it's just courtesy to the members.......allowing them to decidde whether to wait or not......!

maybe you should start learning to read the posts instead of filtering what you want to process.
Why should anyone tell you anything? alledged 187? I couldn't care less about what you have to say much less what is sitting on your pathetic wrist. In all honesty, you don't even deserve to be here. Guess we all know how much education have brought you thus far.
Insulting a trusted dealer who was merely trying to convey an updated prototype model that is soon to be premiering, I guess your forum productivity is on par with your intelligence.
Wake up and open your eyes or the sun will continue to shine on your egoistical ass when everyone here is moving on.
I vote bres3000 for President / #1 Monkey on every dealer's back!
BTW, you insinuated EL's intentions by your uneducated "replica" analysis and I would have to tell you that your presence here will not be appreciated any longer than you can say "Fiddy".
What an anger ball! LOL! Good luck with the real world out there!

I really hate the idea of frozen dials, I would never, ever buy a rep which has them.
But I'm not a fan of chronos anyway, so not much chance of me doing that.
K.
would you rather have something ugly and false like this (and remember, if someone asks you, why its called "daytona" say "because of the famous perpetual calender atomic clock which is from daytona and very famous!!"):
-
scamming a seller with pp is sooo easy, there are plenty of ways! WU is a little bit more tricky! and i dont know if he accepts money order or personal/cashiers cheques, if he does, you can always send him a fake cheque!
-
of course it can be restaurated, but its probably expensive
-
the movement is just 2k??? [censored], i get a custom case/dial/hands made and sell that [censored] as a gen for 100k and prolly make 50k at least
-
what really sucks is that the 187 should have the same issue and there are members here who have spend nearly 1000$ on that watch! and they didnt even get a swiss movement
-
the second one looks like a speedmaster chrono :/
-
Soldering is the best method.......unfortunately the high temperatures required for steel may be a problem......jewellery soldering is very different.....gold and silver / platinum etc are more malleable and easier to work with.....but then my experience goes back a long way....things have probably changed.....!
BTW,....as far as 'glue' is concerned.......there is no better glue than what is available to the dental profession.....think about it....it has to perform under hourly stress ...in a very hostile...wet / bacteria / hot environment.....!
I don't think somehow...that's what the Chinese are using....!
maybe some dentist can get a hold of that glue! but i think you need this special "light" in order to make the glue stick to the material and dry
and yes soldering them can be dangerous, because at a certain temperature steel will andoize which would look stupid if you have a blue anodized bezel
-
what kind of movement is that?! and which complications actualy work properly?
-
there was? i thought there is?
-
dont undrestimate glue! there is even glue which keeps parts of the stealthbomber together whilst it's flying at 1000mph so i'm pretty sure there is a way to glue them letters to the bezel so they will NOT fall off!
the only question is - do the chinese have the right glue?
-
the review is about A WATCH you have previously bought and not about paul or what-so-ever!
-
what ABOUT zenith franken daytonas?
-
The fundamental problem is that some newbies get quoted inflated prices for some items that other more knowledgeable members are aware of market pricing...
*caugh*joshua*caugh*caugh*
-
do you do that for money (the painting)?! if so, how much do you charge?
-
OMG Overboosted I know this is a watch forum but -- that chic snorkelling has got the best A$$! I am getting a chubby.
its jessica [censored] alba, so hottttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!!!
-
yeahhhhh i got it
i removed the clamps, uncased the movement, put it all back to gether and its all good now
-
and it only costs as much as a decent rep (300$)
BUT i'm sure it will drop down to ~80$ on ebay pretty soon!

does anyone have a pic of the DW movement? i've been looking all over but couldnt find one!
-
its not the asian movement that bothers me, it just bothers me that its so expensive for such little value!
Wrong. I got a brand new seconds at 6 with correct subdial spacing TT Daytona from River for $200 with EMS shipping included.that was a "special admin" price then...! fact is, the average price for a asian7750 watch is 250-350$!
-
i warned ppl about "seller" because he was offering a 187 with stolen pics. he claimed to me had had the watch, but sold it already (of course...!) and a bunch of other crap.
i just wanna help ppl not to get burned! after that he wrote me pm's like "go f*** your mother" and such
-
still i havnt seen a asian 7750 watch for less than 250$. most are around 300$. no matter how old the watches are
eta powered watches are available for 150$
