  1. Hi all,

After reading some topics about the new Skyland V2 I fell in love...I just need that watch.

My question: I'm in the Netherlands so who offers the Skyland V2 in Europe? Does anyone know? I contacted PT but still no answer...

  2. Do these fit the UPO? .. I thought the bezel dimensions were different from the gen and therfore an aftermarket insert wouldn't fit?

The bezelinsert does fit the UPO. But the gen bezel itself does not fit the UPO. An aftermarket bezelINSERT fits perfectly....

  3. Hi Josh,

I really appreciated that you sent me those replacements, your service is great! But I wanted to know for which movement I paid for!!! That's why I openend this topic. I want to keep the watch because I'm to afraid, when I send the watchback to you, that it will be confiscated.

    @Jeroen,

We have discussed this in depth.. I have also offered to replace your watch .. You decide to keep it.. I am not forcing anything down on you..

I also send you not 1... but 2 replacements as the earlier 2 are taken by your country customs....

    Thanks

    Joshua

  4. Today I went to a local AD to check the bezel and case of the PO. What I saw was really surprising. The older UPO case (the one with the thicker bezel and different lughorns) is the correct one.

In my opinion the newer UPO's aren't so good as the older ones.

  5. Thnx for the responses,

I can confirm that both are having the same UPO dial. The case with thicker bezel comes from PT (UPO). I bought this one from Scotty and he bought it last year from PT.

The case with thinner bezel comes also from PT but I bought this one myself in jan. 2008.

I will do some measurement today!

  6. The shock protection?? Pleas explain me what to shoot with my camera...

Actually, there is NO decoration or machining on the movement below the balance where you should see the movement number and ETA hallmark... and even if there were, the damascening takes off nearly 0 material... more like burnishing the surface with a fiberglass pen... ain't even gonna hide scratches... the Geneva stripes take off marginally more, but not enough to obliterate any stamping on the rotor... you can check out Ofrei's watch kit for what a 2824-2 in this level of finish and presumed adjustment... 7. Thnx for all the reply's. I asked Joshua about the movement and this is what he answered:

Hi, This movt is being machined... It is swiss.. The swiss wordings are machine off due to the add on machining work. It is a more expensive movt. If you do not want it. See it back to me. i will send you the watch in raw gold movt. joshua

Crazy isn't it? I paid the same price as advertised on his website for the UPO ETA. About 300 dollar..
