After a long wait and sending a third replacement, finally I received my UPO from Joshua. Today I openend the watch to see if it's really a ETA.

Look at those pictures. I don't see any ETA number engraved. Is it a chinese copy of an ETA?

Yeah the Serie Special has a doomed crystal just like the one you installed. But this one isn't a Serie Special so....I prefer the normal crystal.

I popped two bezels of the SOSF. The first one came pretty quick of with some help of a knife. YES without damage the bezel or case.

The second one was very hard to take of. I damage the bezel and case.

I noticed that the first SOSF had a bezel that wasn't really tight to the case and had a smaller spring that the second SOSF.

My opinion: If the bezel is tight to the SOSF case DON'T take it off.

I ordered an UPO from Joshua and was sent the 27th and still nothing received.

I think its a great idea, there's probably quite a few people out there that would benefit from such a "wiki". It sounds like you've already done quite a bit of homework; if you pulled together and posted the links that have been the most informative you'd probably have a pretty "wiki" already.

Okay I will try to pull this together. Bit I hope that members will updat this forum when I post something that isn't right.

I fell in love... with the BCE. Now I want one on my wrist. After a 3 hours search yesterday, I'm still really confused what to buy. The V2 is the ultimate. But why is the gray dial the best one? I preffer the white dial...but I want the BCE that's closest to the gen.

Is it possible to make a wikipedia about the BCE ? So when RWG members want to buy a BCE the can easily check this topic.

Sorry to say but I've a bad feeling about Precious Time. I ordered two watches from him, ( UPO & SFSO) and I asked to check them carefully ( markers, pearl, etc.). When I received the UPO after a few weeks, the pearl was really bad!!! I send it back and had to wait 1,5 month to get a new one. I had also problems with the SFSO. (bad markers)

If they install the crystal at the end you are really f*cked. I think you've to pry of the bezel. But how?? Don

Anyone?? I also consider one the buy for my girl...

When changing the logo from my UPO I made a scratch on the datewheel. It looks really terrible now. Does somebody know where I can find a new datewheel for the UPO?? It has an ETA 2824-2 movement.. I looked on the cousins website but couldn't find it.

On the board I read something about the IWC 3717 from Joshua with the improved datefont. Can somebody verify that?

Do you have a name of the dealer?

either way, check it is in stock before paying. i got mine when stock was en route (and delayed) to PT and as a result QC was nonexistant and i ended up with poor engraving on the main bezel numbers. not his usual standard i believe.
