I'm not sure if this is the one that all the members are talking about, but the Omega website shows the SMP with Seamaster written in red directly underneath Omega, also I believe the caseback is different now. I really want an SMP but am holding off for a few months to see if this version is coming out

Once Chinese New Year settles down I'm looking to purchase a 1680 and love what a lot of you guys have done with your watches. Being my second rep I'm really a virgin to the ways of making a watch look "beat up" or vintage. I know a few things, like how to fade the insert, but I don't know how to get the insert off. Also, how do you guys slightly scratch the crystal so that it's not too damaged and still is in good shape? I guess what I'm asking is how do I give my watch that, I've been worn for 10-15yrs. and still going strong, look? I appreciate any help you all can give me and thanks for allowing me to be apart of this great forum.

I'm also looking for a new watch box, but don't know the difference between any of them. Are the $30 ones on ebay going to last a week and then go kaput?

This is my first post so I'll start out by saying hello and thanks for all the great advice so far. First rep is on its way and i'm already looking for #2!! I'm looking at the Omegas for my next rep and was wondering if we'll be seeing any SMP's with the red writing on the dial like the new ones? Also, i'm debating on the SMP vs. the SMP chrono and was wondering if the swiss ETA on the SMP is going to last a lot longer than the valjoux 7750 on the chrono? Thanks for all the help guys.
