  1. I hope they come out with a darker replica. The one posted earlier looks to clean, I would like to see how it ages.
  2. I agree with you jpz5142. I asked for a photo showing the complete GMT hand, as I read on the the link Archetypal provided that some of the white explorers had black explorer GMT hands. If the hands are wrong I will mail angus direct and see if he is willing to pick one out for me. If none of that is possible I will send more money for a different watch and wait for the next version of this explorer to be released. Even with these concerns, I still feel I made a good chocie for popping my replica watch cherry.
  3. New quality control pictures, looks like an improvement to me, but I wonder if I should accept? Cyclops is not perfectly aligned but I think it is a step up from the first watch. Lume seems to be a bit poorer on this one though. Date seems to be a bit low in the window but I don't really care about that.
  4. Thank you for the input GMTlover. I have mailed them to request more photos and told them my concerns about the scratched crystal and bad date window alignment. Unfortunately I live out in the boonies and I am not so sure if there are any watch makers that would be able to allign the date window for me. Fingers crossed they have a superb specimen, even though this one is not perfect the pictures have me excited.
  5. Thanks for posting archetypal, seems you received a very nice specimen. Here are the important QC photos I received from puretime: The most glaring issue to my noob eyes is the cyclops alignment on the date window. If anyone sees other problems that should be addressed please post or PM me. I relize the hour hand looks off, but I can't tell if that is due to scratches on the crystal or something else. The marks seem to move with the angle of the picture, but I would like to think if the crystal was that scratched they wouldn't try to sell it off.
  6. I went with the white dial, it looks so crisp in these photos. Unfortuantely I have a vacation coming up, so I hope I receive the quality control photos before I go. Otherwise I will ask them to hold off on shipping until I am back from my trip to make sure everything looks nice. Trying not to be an anxious noob with this order, but the watch is so pretty it's hard to be patient. I am excited to see archetypal's photos, his teaser shot helped me pull the trigger.
  7. The gorgeous photos in this thread gave me the courage to order this watch. This will be my first foray into reproduction watches, I hope I have made a good choice.
  8. Hi fellow members, I am very happy to have found this board, I almost bought from a lesser quality supplier not knowing I had other options. This will be my first venture into replicas, I have a genuine Omega Seamaster that I love dearly. Hoping to pick up some nice white dialed replicas soon, and maybe some black dialed replicas in the future. Thanks for having me here, I will do my best to make contributions to the community. Now i have to go do some readings on the forum.
  9. Welcome to the forums superbia :)
