  1. The last watch there is what I lust after. Do want!

Isn't it painful the impression these 6263's leave on you man! Haha I know it's pretty common and cliche but idc, the vintage Daytona's, more over the 6263, is definitely my grail! Can't wait to build a v72 powered one, but as for now I can settle for my a7750's

    Cheers!

    Beautiful pieces btw prdubis

  2. Well here's a sneak peak, wish I could say she was finished but unfortunately she's not, I have two 6263 bezels one being a phong and the one mounted an older DW, phongs was a little to tight to put in at the moment resulting in cracking my Clark's tropic 21 so I'll be replacing that, went ahead and put the DW on for now, my hour counter hand shifted to the left twice once I had it completely assembled and to top all of it off for what ever reason the movement sits just a tad off to where my pushers wouldn't engage my chrono! Haha it's all part of the game I guess...nonetheless I'm enjoying every bit of the trouble shooting, as frustrating as it can be.

  3. So this evening we celebrated my wife's birthday with a group of her friends and oddly one of her girlfriends pointed out "how cool" it was that we were all wearing watches and was very eager and demanding we took this photo, it was kinda cool coming from someone other than me Lol unfortunately they're all lame watches..

  4. One of the best changes ever!

Thanks bud! I'm happy with the way it came out, trimmed up the 7750 stem a little earlier, stem fits nicely and crown screws down with ease, one step closer to this bad boy being on the wrist!

    Cheers,

  5. Like I said in the original post DW's coronets have vertical feet on them where as the gens horizontal, let me tell you filing those tiny things down was not super easy haha I used a 3M spraymount as @ceejay recommended. With the help of my sturdy hands, some rodico and fine tweezers and needles tada!!

  6. Here's a first attempt with toilet bowl cleaner containing bleach, pretty good results I thought compared to other methods I've tried, I think I left it in for like five minutes rinsed with warm water for a minute and then cold for a minute. I like it but still not the "perfect ghost" look IMO

  7. Received this today in the mail lol I love good mail, just thought I'd share! Keep an eye out for it, still debating how much I like/love it. My major issue is the coronet, it's terrible lol and won't swap directly with a gen coronet as this ones holes are vertical and a gens horizontal. PM me if interested! Searching for a good black DW 6263 7750 dial

    Cheers,

  8. So just I just received a "brand new" 7750 seconds at 9 movement. I opened the package to find the stem was removed, come to find out it looks as if the keyless function is rattling around in the movement :/ tried to see if I could put the stem back in to see if that was the problem and I'm almost certain that's what it is. Any recommendations for a 7750 guru as I myself do not have the skills or knowledge. Is member SSTEEL our guy, I'm wanting to PM him.

    Thank you in advance guys!

    -Will
