I'm surprised how small this thread is. I guess there's a lack of interest here on the 116610?
The threads about this new NOOB Sub over @ RWI are huge, and with lots of QC pictures.
I personally placed an order last night for one, and am waiting for PT to send me payment instructions.

TC
Sorry for this, but can someone please explain what/who TC, LN and LV are?
TC is a modder/dealer.
LN/LV are models of the Rolex Submariner.
-
Why don't you email them? I've only made one purchase from them this past winter for my 1680, and I paid via western union.
Their email address is puretime.sales@gmail.com

Interesting. Anyone have one of these? BK or TC's are in the same price range, however this has the Asian 3135 clone I see.

IF it has gen like construction watch this;
Be careful not to break anything.

TC doesn't make a sea dweller. He does sell the dial, hands, and bracelet tho.
BK does sell a sea dweller, http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/118415-product-offering-noobfactory-dssd/
Go read that thread, and visit his review section. here - http://www.rwgforum.net/forum/197-reviews-bk/

Try a green scotch brite pad, depending how deep the scratches are.

teeth? On the datewheel?
He's saying the date wheel overlay.
-
Question..
I have a puretime 1680, with a Clark 127 crystal. Would this dwo overlay fix the issue of some date's being hard to see, where you have to angle your wrist a bit?

Lol yea im in Chicago but used to live in Florida so i know what you mean when you say you live in water. i was always at the beach or in a pool.
New gaskets and a pressure test and your good to go. The only problem with reps and water resistance is the vintage pieces. Sometimes there not put together well and its hard to keep them waterproof.
Referring to my 1680? Haha, it seems to be waterproofed again.
What happened was the crown wasn't down all the way the first time I think, then when I dried it out the o-ring on the caseback wasn't seated correctly. Now things appear ok!

Question. Does the valve on it actually work, or is it epoxied shut to waterproof it?

He will he just answered mine. He's busy putting together LV subs for orders.
Yeah, he finally did reply after over a week.
He refuses to accept PayPal from me, despite
I having 3 positive feedbacks from respected
Members, which is his "rule," and have bought parts from him before. So he won't be getting my business I suppose.

Beautiful watch, and Big ups to MD2020. Guys a GOD when it comes to servicing.
-
Beautiful watches. I wish Thomas would answer my emails.
-
That's true. He is strict when it comes to new members. With good reason. Do a search and you'll read horror stories of idiots going crazy on the TDs. Give him time to reply. He is a busy man. He will reply to your email. :-)
He was replying to me, then stopped. I very much hope I hear back from him tonight, or tomorrow.
I only had a feedback at the time, and was wanting a watch. Now I have the amount of feedbacks he requests, and from recognized, respected members.
Hopefully he'll get back to me.

TC.
However it may be difficult to get one from him as you are new. He has a strict selling policy apparently, because he's had issues with buyers. I'm hoping he'll sell me one, but I'm kinda new too, and haven't heard back from him. I wish he'd get back to me.

KB, the items on your site are they AAA quality, or 1:1 quality?

I like your faded insert, and dial, and the over polished look of the case. Tho I can't say I'm a huge fan of rubber straps, as I kinda prefer stainless.

I'd like to see what these look like. I'm not going to pull the trigger however, I don't have funds to throw out the window if their bad. I was just about to get a TC LV 16610 tho.
I gotta say I do kinda like how the ETA 2824 is modded to resemble the real Rolex movement.
Just go new Explorer II...DOA.
