  1. I've had a TC crown slip on me during winding. It happens on my Seadweller with TC crown. Whether others have had issues with his crown, I'm not sure. I'll eventually put a gen on my Seadweller. Now my TC v6's crown was ok, but was replaced with a genuine one. However that watch was part of the batch that suffered the reversal gear problem. Had to buy new wheels & have my watch smith install them, as I didn't want to wait longer.
  2. Open the case back, and see. If you don't have a case back opener, you could try the whole duct tape ball trick, which may or may not work. Or ask the seller to accompany you to a local jeweler/watchsmith, to verify it's legitimacy.
  3. I saw them listed, member Whoopy12 posted about them last week. Their no longer on ebay I see, I recall them being like $250? Either this guys picture isn't that great, or that "DEEPSEA," font is pretty darn yellow, it should be greener. If, and when a factory gets these watches correct, or I may buy one.

    Yikes

That's a funny find there. Something must be wrong with me, because I kinda like this galaxy looking dial, except well... look @ the 12 marker, and the font, haha.
  5. You'll have to glue it. Use some epoxy, just use little dabs on a tooth pick around the outer edge on the bezel ring, so the bezel can still freely turn. My 1680 insert is epoxied in, most reps are, unless their made to gen specs like my TC sub, which the insert just snaps in.

    Mens gloves

I don't know what country you live in. However TJ Maxx in the states usually has Polo, Calvin Klein, etc gloves/hats,scarfs on the cheap.
  7. You paid $97? You could of probably gotten it for less either from another seller on there, or.. With i-offer, if you didn't know, you can submit an offer. If the seller doesn't like the offer, they can revise the offer. However I've never paid the asking price for anything on there. Atleast that seller has good feedback. I bought my Dupont's on there for about $60ish shipped, both Ligne 2's.
  8. Yes, mine take the dupont flints, and refill butane. However I use an even better butane with the adapter called Vector.
  9. I've got a few very nice ligne 2 ST Dupont's off of ioffer. I believe you'll also find Cartiers on there. The quality of my lighters is outstanding. The weight, feel, the engravings.. Very gen like. If you buy one though be sure to use the best butane, not Ronson garbage! I use only Vector butane, it's a little pricey, but it's the best, and can be gotten on amazon.
  10. I'm browsing on my phone, but from what I see... Did you get water in it? That looks like condensation to me.
  11. Just take your $400 and buy a Noob Sub. You'll be happy with it. Now if you want to get serious, and own the best sub there is, and end up investing in lots of genuine parts, spending lots of $$$$, and await months for the watch to arrive, then more time for your watch smith to make it a masterpiece, buy a TC. Uhuh.
  12. It's a better idea to hold the stem with a pin vice rather than pliers. Be very careful pressing that button down. It's pretty easy to mess up the keyless, I made that mistake once. I've since had luck the other times removing stems, but with my newest watch, also a TC, I had a watch smith replace my crown for me.
  13. Just curious, where did you get your gen crystal from? I'm in the market for one myself for my TC sub.
  14. I really like that Seamaster of yours. I myself am waiting on my TC v6 tho, been 20 something days so far since payment. I've since acquired a gen insert, and gen crown. Can't wait for the watch to arrive.
  15. I've always wanted to visit Alaska. Your pictures are always awesome.
  16. Congrats! Give us an update with pictures when it arrives, and how long it took. I just recently bought TC's V6 SUB. Awaiting it. Hopefully it arrives around his turnaround time. Thomas informed me the dial & parts were in stock, and he secured me in.
  17. Lately I use Dorco. I spent less than $20 on six blade razor set, 8 razors, and handle, which will last me awhile. Their what "Dollar shave club," uses, but removes the branding of Dorco, and it's rather cheap.
  18. There's so many Chinese rep sites for sneakers. For example hiphopiop, whatever their url is nowadays. I haven't ordered anything from them in years, and when I did quality wasn't great for what I ordered.
  19. I was in contact with him last week a few times. Ordered some parts. He sent me tracking info on the 22nd, but the package hasn't been sent out yet.
  20. It's either a BP or the noob v2. Can't tell. Is it me, or do those bezel marks look silver? I thought the noob & bp both used white paint, though the real watch uses silver.
  21. I don't have time to read through this whole thread. I just wanna say that Mike has worked on two of my watches multiple times, and everything was all good. That was a few months back, but everything was great. I hope you all get your watches back, and Sure you will, it just might take him a bit to get Caught up.
  22. Thanks for the updates. I'm looking forward to seeing these. Hopefully final pictures, and pre-orders come soon.
  23. It's ceramic. There's some people however which aren't happy with it, the LN & the LV insert. Right now tho it's as close to gen as your going to get. I'm reading a thread over @ RWI right now where some guys have found an aftermarket ceramic LN insert which their saying look better. Nothing on aftermarket LV inserts yet. I bought the noob v2 LV from PT tho. Should be here in a few days. If your going to order one I'd advice you check stock before hand, as most places are sold out.
  24. Canal street pretty much sells low end quality stuff. Maybe higher quality stuff exists, it probably does, but I never saw any in all the times I'd go. I haven't been in 2 years, but the last time I was there everything is all hush hush. You'd have guys coming up to you with little booklets containing pictures of sun glasses, watches, bags. It used to be everything was on the street or in the back of shops, not anymore. I like walking around canal I always find interesting stuff. Last time I was there i found some cool paintings, a sword, bought my turtles, but if ur going there looking for high end reps your better off buying online.
