  1. Ok sorry if I appear stupid here, but where do I get the COSC#? And is there a way to check these numbers with Rolex for authenticity(ie. Website or call)?
  2. Ok thank you for the feedback. Here are the pics the seller has sent me. Is this a real one???
  3. So im looking to buy a gen Rolex and wondering a couple things. How much are having papers with the watch worth? On newer Rolex's I notice they come with warranty cards now, is that a replacement for papers?
  4. Was wondering if someone can point me in the right direction on getting the correct CG and back for my Arktos.
  5. Ok thanks. BTW where would I get a better case back?
  6. Hi, I have a PAM 092 Arktos and am wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction on how to tighten the bezel on this watch? It is loose and gives the watch a VERY cheap & tinny feel. I would really like to resolve this, any suggestions would be greatley appreciated!
  7. So I just looked at the prices of the MBK's offered by a couple of the dealers here and they are basically same price as W9's Sub. So why would I buy a MBK when W9 has a more accurate Sub for the same price.
  8. You know I thought I was over the whole Rolex thing. I mean I have owned 3 gens and sold them all. I went to the mall today and went to AD and tried on the TT Blue Sub. Wow, what a classy and beautiful watch. Makes me want to spend the $6k and change for one. Or do I spend 400 and change for a good rep? Honestly I do not see the justification in spending that much for a Rolex. It's all the name, I mean for a mass produced watch they have balls putting a price tag of $7k on it. How much does it actually cost them to make?
  9. Who has a MBK TT SUB? How close is the MBK to the genuine?
  10. Im about to lay out $530 for a 2007 'Z' TT Sub w/ Blue Face from WatchMaker9. He is claiming he is using real 18k solid gold on mid links! Wrapped on bezel and crown. Same dimensions as the stainless steel model, which he is claiming is a 1:1. Looks real nice. To the watch experts here, do you think it's worth it? It seems after reading Watchers review of his sub hhe received from George over at Watchmaker9 that his new 'Z' subs are on a different level than the ones offered by the dealers in these forums, even though some additional mods are needed.

  12. I totally agree I have had nothing but problems from TrustyTime and will never buy from him again. I bought many watches and 1/2 were faulty! I bought a DateJust from him that didn't work, I had to spend $30 to send it back and then he sent me another one and that didn't work. I haven't even emailed him about it because I doubt he will do anything for me. There are definitley Quality Control issues, in fact there is no QC with him.
  13. Ok good to know. Probably worth to get the Swiss then. Can this watch be waterproofed?
  14. Can anyone tell me if the Asian 7750 version of the Daylight is worth getting or would you go with the Swiss 7753? Thanks
