(28mm) NDT 1016 dials are all 29mm but I don't like the non gilt dials. And too pricy !! Ingod44 dials are too small 26,5mm but to me look very good. for long time they are in back order Mahand1 dials are 27,5mm and look very sharp and clean, with a loup you can see the lume has been applied/refinished in a sloppy way So I can live with the Mahand1 dial for the moment, but eventually I will swap with a better one and with the right diameter. Somebody here used a 1018 case for building a franken Explorer

Preacher62, looks like yours is 28mm whereas mine is 27.5mm. What case did you use?

I bought one from Ebay Seller Mahand1. I've built a franken explorer based on Gen 1601 case + case back Gen 1570 movement Gen 1570 hands JMB Bezel Gen crown + tube Mahand1 Explorer dial Con : Dial OD is too small : 27.5 mm (whereas gen dials are 28mm).
