Funny how we have the same taste and the same watches. I bought a Chronomat Evo from you about a year ago. I've had my Seawolf Avenger for a few years, but it just doesn't get enough wrist time.
I need to get rid of it!

Yep, that will actually work! The screws are purely cosmetic, leave them. Pop the bezel off by sticking a knife edge underneath and rotating gently. Then, wrap dental floss around the watch, underneath the spring. You'll probably only need 2-3 winds. Put the spring over the dental floss and pop the bezel back on.
Oh, and the gen bezel doesn't fit, I've tried it.
Any advice on how to tighten it up? Getting the bezel off isn't a problem. I've adjusted the spring slightly so the clicks are more "positive". It still feels sloppy if you press it down on one side.
I've heard they can be tightened up, but I haven't seen any hints on how to do it.
Thanks!
