Well, I can guarantee it is the same case. There is a serial number on it....
Well, if it is the same case it should definitely fit. I was told the case was an early Sean case and I went with that notion. I could not find anything to argue against it. I was ultimately going to use this case for an early 16610 transitional model as the rehaut seemed shallower than the 3135 cases (Both Late Sean and ST) and about the same as the ST3035 cases but the center line for the stem was closer to a 3135 case. Things changed and I had to sell it.
There is about .4mm or less of difference on the top side of the 3035 and 3135 movements. I wonder if this is the issue here.

I can take more pictures.
The problem fitting the movement is that the dial doesn't sit flsh against the rehaut. The way the case is shaped from the inside doesn't allow the dial to go all the way against the bottom of the case. It leaves a small space and because the dial is not flush the screws that hold the movement down don't have enough roomto even fit in the movement.

He said : 116520 not 16520 so he will definetely need an INHOUSE ROLEX Caliber movement : 4130 not Zenith Elprimero 4030 ROLEX modified caliber
My bad. I thought I read 16520. In that case the Zenith wont fit..... but neither will the 7753....
-
i have a gen 116520 case with gen braclet, gen dial and gen hands, gen crystal and gen crown. every gen.
i only need a movement now that fits.
i think a 7753 sec@6 no date should fits with some work. when my watchsmith has done the job i will post some pics.
You want a Zenith movement Chronograph cal 4030. Look for a movado datron from the 70's and there you have it. Don't waste your time with a 7753. It will never fit not will the dial line up.

Here's the front and back. Thanks

Where do you find the Slash replica guitars? I'd love to get one!

I took a couple of pictures of the case and caseback. Maybe some of the experts can chime in.
The supposed to be gen caseback has terrible font and the word "stainless" has the INL so close that is looks like the I is missing.
Here's a picture of a gen caseback. Note how crisp and clean:
Here's a Sean Case I bought last year. I was able to find the picture from the original post.
The bigger cutout for the movement screw to go in is in a different position also. Sean case is at about 10:00 position while the case I received is at 9:00
Not that it makes a difference but it shows another difference in machining.

I bought a Sean case last month and finally got my gen parts to put a franken submariner together. Today we tried to assemble all the parts but the gen movement didn't fit the case. I had built a franken last year with a Sean case and everything fit pefectly in place. The caseback that came with the case (that was supposed to be gen) didn't fit 2 of the gen subs we tried it on and it didn't fit the TC case I had at my place either.
Does anyone have a Sean case or recall any of the particulars? One the the pictures I have show the cutout for the movement in a different place. I paid a pretty penny for the set and would like some opinions if anyone cares to share....

very cool watch.....too bad its too big. (at least for my wrist size)

what model are you looking for? I have a few around
-
Putting together a nice PAM24 Submersible franken but need a crystal gasket. I have found a few around but no one seems to know the actual size to fit a 24/25 sub.
The crystal is smaller than the Luminor automatic models and someone even suggested the 40mm gasket is the same as the Pam 24 models.
Does anyone know the exact size or compatibility?
TIA

that looks mighty fine indeed! Congrats

Hey Everyone, I need some help.
I need a date disc for a 7750 and a 7754 movement. I heard Taka makes a good one but I don't know where to source it.
Also, 7754 discs are different. Does anyone know where to find one?
thanks!

Your watch looks great!
I would love to have someone retrofit a 7754 in my pam89.
Is there a modder in the US that can do it?
-
I have a case. Let see what I can do
-
And most importantly font size and depth
-
I need some good resolution pictures of the serial numbers as well as fonts and anything else that may help.
-
I have a CNC machine and maybe with the proper guidance I can figure out a holder and a way to do it. JMB, maybe we can work together?
May be a good thing for the community...

Got some good info for the OP and lo and behold he has disappeared!!!
Nah...I'm here juggling 3 different forums! I appreciate the help guys.
Kinda concerned with the quality of what I've seen... in terms of 24 or 25. I think a 199 Regatta may be a good option too..if I find one!
-
Thanks, but that is a 243 not a 24 or 24
-
Thanks. I looked, he doesn't carry the 24 or 25.
Franken 1002 for the wife

Very nice! Congratulations on your anniversary!
My wife is just like yours.... Barely ever wears a watch. Her last Rolex sat around for 10 years!
Question, how does that movement fit in the gen car? Have any pictures?
