Love my Navi... Still need to get a GEN datewheel if anyone can help...

Just wanted to say hi to my fellow Breitling fans. I just bought this watch off of another forum member and am IN LOVE with this watch. This watch is the reason I have been looking into reps.... I would really like to go as Franken as possible with this thing and get Gen Dial, Datewhee, and hands.... If any of you know where I can source these type of parts for this watch please let me know.

I have read Andrews review regarding the Breitling Navitmers a number of times and this GEN on ebay looks legit but before I place a bid on the watch and chance paying roughly $2K for this watch I wanted to get some of your feedback and have some of you experts look it over and let me know what you think:

Best advice... Go Gen and you won't have the problem again. If you just FIX it its going to happen again... Just my opinion.

For those of you wondering what this "circle" is on your bracelet... its the circle/link that you push on to use the "diver extension" on your bracelet. The circle is on the mid-link. The second pic is of the reverse side where the "DE" locks into place:

Stunning piece, which movement did you get, one of TCs 2824-2s or did you manage to get one of the last ETAs?

I think you will find alot of Gen LV owners are swopping out their green inserts for black, maybe for keepsafe for the green bezel or maybe just for variety, but its quite common in Genland it seems. Also for buying the Gen insert the LV is twice as expensive.

Regarding the pre-order. Do you know if this will be as the same batch of LVs as before i.e same LV insert? Just wondering because TC is still working on the perfect insert right? or has this come to fruition?

 

The TT bracelets are gonna be sharp.

I am actually happy with the TC the way it is set up now with the gen black insert. I wouldnt mind installing a gen crystal and gen bracelet but that is it.

looks good... did you get it from TT or PC? I like the strap, it looks like good quality.

I just sent an email to TC but does anyone know if I can fit a gen bracelet to a TC Sub Type II?? The v3 bracelet looks good but is not 1:1 and I would like to find a gen bracelet and swap it out but I want to make sure that I will not need to mod anything to put the gen bracelet on.

@sgt, thank you sir, yes, my TC v3 bracelet has the circle which you push on for the divers extension.

@high, my TC v3 bracelet came with all of the links and I had to remove one link and then adjust the clasp to size to my wrist.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone over in the Rolex club... I am officially an owner of a TC sub with gen insert and I love it!!! I cant wait to get my next one now as I cannot take this one off of my wrist and need a back up to swap out from day to day so this one does not get worn out too fast.

Hey diver, how is the movement on this one, what movement did you go with? I want my next rep to be an AP but I am reading that a lot of the AP's have movement issues down the road.
