  1. Buy the one you like, at the price you can pay and you'll enjoy it. It will always be a non original one, even it's the most beautiful Frankenstein with the best parts around build by the best mecanics around. No disrespect to all the high quality owners and builders around here, i really enjoy seeing your watches and understand the outstanding quality of some of those watches. Spent a lot of money? > Buy original at dealer. Spent not to much ? > Make friends around here and you'll be guided what to look for Spent a little but to much > Buy at an unknown Asian website and be disappointed or ripped. Bought a ETA 7750@6 myself and love the watch, paid €400 / $ 520. Jack
  2. A slightly better picture
  3. Hi everybody, The pictures last posted are of an 16030 plexi, 1979, new old stock dial, completely polished, the distortion is propably caused because the photo was taken on a cushion while bracelet closed. This watch is certainly original and thus serviced by Rolex, offcourse with the original Jubilee bracelet installed instead of the replica oyster. Because of the critical notes about the Daytona I took it to my watchrepair guy he opened it and he has shown me the "ETA"' inside and also the regulator of the balance +/- ,something that is missing on most of the the Asian version 7750's. I understand Chinese and other Asians can copy anything. It runs at 288/289 on a "'tick-tack" machine which according to the repair guy is ok. I ordered some taller and fatter hands. Jack
  4. Swear to anything it's real and professionally installed, cross my (to you unknown..yes) heart. Jack
  5. The picture as described above
  6. Try cigare or sigarette ash mixed with sewing machine oil, that removes scratches.
  7. Nice watches, perfect mecanics, respect for the enormous skills shown. About 2 years ago I bought an 16030 , non quickset transition model, 1979 s/n6117758, and Franked it with complete polish, new plexi, new style oyster bracelet, old style non-smooth polished SS lunette and a real old stock emaille (enamel) white dial with FINE romans. The photos are too big to upload, I'm working on that The watch costed me €999 at a watch market The dial costed me €330 installed , official since 45 year Rolex dealer with a lot of old parts, Heetman Rotterdam Holland. The old champagne dial brought me back €100 Bracelet perfect replica costed me €100 Wait for the pictures Jack
  8. In Holland no problemo with that, a lot of watchmakers, in Germany you can buy all the Rolex spareparts online, cheap... Also a lot of watch-markets with a lot of spare parts, again from German sellers. Jack
