I'd love one, but I'm slightly concerned by a post I read on this board or one of the others, suggesting that some rubber rep straps may contain cancer causing chemicals.
BTW, do Omega make 2 rubber straps for the PO XL - one with a buckle and one with a deployant clasp?
Any tips for putting it back on? Looks like it was just glued before.
Any parrticular type of glue I should use?
Or any other handy tips?
Thanks.
I suppose I'm lucky it happened while watching TV. I don't know what would have happened if it was lost in the street.
I'll dig out my proper camera and try some better pics tomorrow. Battery is long since flat in the watch, so I don't know if It runs. Maybe I'll try replacing it.
I've got an approx 10 year old kinetic Seiko. When fully charged it should keep going for up to a week I think.
But when it's off my wrist it seems to stop in about 36 hours.
Do these movements lose their ability to hold a charge after a while. Do the capacitors get knackered or something?
Cheers.
Hi,
I see this watch listed with both movements on various sites. As far as I'm aware the only diff is one movement has the date wheel and one has the day and date wheels. So is there any practical difference in having either in the PO Ultimate 45mm? I guess the day wheel is just covered up in one model?
Thanks.
My other half picked it up for me in Thailand (she knows I like chunky watches). It's only a cheapie.
I suspect it's a frankenwatch? Can't see any gen Breitlings with a second face on the strap anywhere.
