    Thank you Ken, it is true, I have to spend lots of hours research, and i think it would be easyer is I have the gen here, it easier to compare.

    There is really no crash course for this, I've been here over a year and I'm still learning.

    If you need to quickly dicern is a sub is fake (for purchase) then as Pugwash said the best way is to open her up.

    In general though the list is large, Mag on the date window, font on the bezel, number of clicks of the bezel, pearl, case shape, font on dial, does the M's line up, crown guards, swiss made over 5 ticks, correct bracelet and the list just goes on and on.

    I suggest that you start off spending some time in the Auction Scam section, you will learn a lot in there.

    maybe we have to make the forum more exclusive and to become a member you have to fill in more of yourself, if you you want to become a membership. It is to easy I think...

    .. and make some rules how to behave and what to do if...and if you wil order a watch at the dealers. ( the mail klink sent me when I became a member on the old form, was a briljant gift for me as noob.)

    Normally I am not so drastic, but I believe that the behavior of this member has put in danger the community. A reflection of everybody is needed. We are here as single persons but our actions he also reflects toward the others. As a discussion has been open regarding the avatars I believe is correct to open a discussion regarding the behavior of the single ones that strike again him on the other members.

    sorry to hear this for you, realy [censored], was it not possible to refuse the packege?

    Maybe is it an idea to make rules for buying a rep at the dealers on this forum..

    Every member get a copy of it and they have to keep the rules. If some one is so stupid to [censored] with those "agreement" it is his own risk to loose his watch or money.

    I think everybody must now how it works and what to do by problems

    1.custom problems

    2.paypal/ moneytransfers

    3.shipping problems

    etc etc

    Please advice me guys :angry:

    I transfered money for the reservation of the submariner, the guy gave me 8%.

    This afternoon a good friend called me and told me that he could get one nearby with 20% discount!!!

    ( this is a different of 600 euros)

    What should I do now? :o

    I know now that if I want something realy realy , i stop buying reps for a moment a try to keep the money for a while....and then it is easier to by a gen.

    But I have to tell you that this is the only gen I buy for at least a few years, I will wear 1 piece on my arm most of the time, and this is the one I am dreaming of sins 15 years. I have had a rep of this one, but only with rolex , everybody is asking, oh is that a rep, is it real etc etc. With my panerais everybody thinks it is a gen. so.....

    I hope I can sleep the next nights till it's wednesday.... :bangin:

    I'm concerned. I found this site and its' affilliated dealers several months ago after staggering around the replica internet for years spending far too much on crap. Since I've been here, I've spent about a grand on 4 stunning pieces, the Speedmaster Moon Watch with the Venus copy hand wind movement, a Speedmaster Broad Arrow, an ETA powered stainless Submariner, and a new 7750 powered Bentley GT. The quality and craftsmanship in these watches is nothing short of remarkable for the price. The Submariner fooled a Rolex regional sales representative, the Broad Arrow won compliments in a high end jewlrey store, and all run to within 3-5 seconds accurate per day after adjustment. In some recent posts however, respected members here raised the point that some replicas are getting so good that genuine companies, who have always viewed tha replica industry as a flattering annoyance, might begin to get serious about cracking down on counterfeits. Shipping problems, which I believe were linked to choking off the counterfeit trade, have cropped up recently. My question is are we living in the golden age of replicas right now with accuracy to originals at the highest level it's ever been and availability at the easiest level it's ever been, but this ride is due to come to a screeching halt? We've gotten too good and too easy and hard times are on the horizon. This is my concern. In other words, should I buy up every 9 out of 10 rated replica I see now before it's too late!!!! :Jumpy:

    Hi

    I finaly made a decission, I reserved and paid an amount for a black one and get him wednesday!

    The price is 3800 euro. This was the only new one in holland what was left, others were all reserved.

    I thought abou getting the green one, new there was a delivery time of 2-3 years!!! They had one, from 1 years old and the price was 4700 euro. Unfortunately is the extra 1000 euro now the problem for me, any way, if I want him later, I can switch it at this dealer and give me back the 3800 euro, that's a goor deal i think!!

    the lv has a large minute hand and a maxi dial. it is much easier to read at a glance. and the same goes at night in the dark. i like much better than my black sub. i wish all of the subs had those features. then of course all of the things that pugs mentioned. i like by black sub but if you have both you will see exactly what i'm talking about.

    allright, I got your point, I realy don't see it very often indeed...

    I shall see if I can see one for real and see it on my wrist, maybe it looks soooo good :D

    Look at the Planet Ocean. It's cool, sure, but it's even cooler because it's Orange.

    It's an understated design with a hook. If you don't get it, it's not for you, but trust me, it is classy.

    a terrible thing happend, i could have known when I call too belgium... :(

    They gave me the price for the sub without date...... :o

    so the date one would be 3900,00 euro.

    So I decided to go for the date one and have no dinner for a week.... :bounce:

    quess what....

    I called some dealers in belgium and the sell the watch for 3590 euro and now I am asking for discount and he call me back in an our....

    It takes me 1,5 hour drive to belgium....i am earning money.....

    Please check this, this maybe is a good alteernative for the gold/steel version....!!!
