  1. Not at all.

Buy yourself some silicone from Cousins or J. Borel. You would be doing yourself a favor to grease your gaskets

every 6 - 10 months or so. Cheap insurance. The grease keeps the gaskets from drying out, it's the gasket that waterproofs your watch.

Just make sure to put it back on tight, but you don't have to over do it.

  2. Have I ever seen a gen "Bra"?...hmmm....nope "Bra". I have no idea "Bra" what I am talking about. I just just go back to collecting G.I.Joe figures "Bra" and leave you seasoned experts alone "Bra".

Let the pictures "Bra" speak for themselves "Bra".

English is not elprimerozen first language and he is correct, most rep SEL's are too thick in the middle and stick up too high, kelster's look really good, but his are not the norm. I do not think elprimerozen meant any disrespect.

Maybe you should chill out Bra.

  3. How on earth is attempting to force dealers with lower prices on certain reps to raise the prices "doing the right thing to the customer"?

That is exactly what happened here. "Raise your prices on <insert model here> or else the factory isn't going to sell to you anymore." That type of activity only hurts *us*, the consumers.

    Well put.

Got to look out for #1, that is what they are trying to do.

I am #1 in my book.

  4. Be careful man. It sounds very easy to take a dab of paint and fill a scratch, but NOOOOOOOOO! It ends up looking like a huge blob of paint on a nice even dial surface. It is much easier to [censored] it up worse than it is to make it look kinda better. It is incredibly hard to paint a tiny scratch without it looking like [censored]. Ask me how I know. :(

Sometimes it's better to live with it as is.

  5. If there is something to remove it, I would be interested also.

I can tell you that I have spent hours with a dremel and various rouge compounds trying to remove a scratch from the glass off my old EL 127. Nothing. Bought a DSN.

I would guess some diamond paste like a dentist would use could get it out, but where to find that?
