Thanks for being so quick on it boss.
RE sales - that applies to VIP and above. If you’re a non paying member you’ll need to upgrade to VIP to be able to sell.
Reps, gens, frankens, steel, Titanium, on leather, on steel, black or blue. The choice is difficult so I’ll wear them all!
OK, decision made. A Franken on leather. Gen relumed dial, gen bezel and an eta 7750.
I (really!) do like a Seamaster chrono.
If it was mine it would be a chisel and hammer, but then I’m a marine engineer not a watchsmith. Hopefully someone with more knowledge than I will be along shortly.
That’s why there are lots of friendly people who will help you if you ask. They can either give you guidance to do it yourself - or probably better if you send it to one of the modders here to do if for you.
I bet @Nanuqwas young and good looking back then, @Mike on a bike was probably still in short trousers and @Legend was not even a twinkle in his fathers eye!
Wow, a blast from the past. There are quite a few names there that have stood the test of time and are still around today. And, the old format is very ‘noughties’.
They are a chain of shoe repair shops that also cut keys and service watches. The watch servicing on site usually consists of bracelet adjustment and battery change. Why would anyone with a watch worth anything go there? Although they can generally send watches away to their service centre and a real watchsmith. I did go into a branch and they pressure tested my Seamaster Chronograph and it passed with flying colours - to their machines limit.
