I'm in no way a Rolex expert, but yes, I've heard the same. A Rolex movement rotates in one direction and ETA etc rotate the opposite way. I would guess though that Rolex clones; Yuki etc will be the same as a gen Rolex. A minefield as always.

I bought a Borealis and am very impressed with it. My only minor gripe is that the lume could be brighter. I could have it relumed though if I wanted so we'll see in a few months. Here she is on mesh rather than the OEM leather.

None of my colleagues are into watches to my knowledge. I sometimes glance at their wrists to see what they are wearing but I've never seen anything interesting.
