  1. Long gone I'm afraid. It's a Titanium Avenger. They do pop up on occasion in M2M.
  2. If it can be done I'd not worry about how difficult it is. There's plenty of modders here to help. After all, if you're spending several hundred $ on the bezel a few more $ to get it fitted won't hurt too much. If you want it go for it. :)
  3. After a quick check ..... http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=106608
  4. I'm lead to believe that Reg has these.
  5. Have you tried approaching a TD to see if they can help?
  6. Omega Grey Side of the Moon. They've done the Dark Side but the grey is soooo much nicer :)
  7. There was a gen bezel on eBay recently. I thought the same as you regarding fitment so passed. It was a few hundred $ too. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/161850745235
  8. Just lovely. I have one, but on leather as I don't have the bracelet. They are indeed very light, almost too light for what is a substantial watch. If you ever want to part with the bracelet then please, please let me know as I've been looking for one for mine. In the meantime; enjoy as it's a beauty.
  9. Lovely piece. I do like vintage Omega, although I only have one; a vintage gold Seamaster, I really should buy somemore as they are very well priced
  10. Great piece. That's worth a relume surely, if you can find someone who'd do it justice.
  11. @ Rollo Ron. Mike on a bike is trying to save you hassle. If you look at people like Mike and Legend you'll see experienced members who talk sense and are willing to help you. Basically Mike was saying that you'll have twice the risk of sending to China with customs. Everyone here who gave advice did so with the best of intent. Personally I'd send to SSteel or another watchsmith, after all if you can post to China then you can post to the EU or USA for sure. You'd get a faster and possibly better service that way and your watch should run fine for a long time. But hey ho, it's your decision.
  12. Getting into the swing of things before a flight to Brazil tomorrow.
  13. Name and shame AJ On another, non watch, forum years ago I was scammed. I had the guys address so I just sent several letters without a stamp on them over the course of a couple of months. The guy would be contacted by the post office to say he had a letter waiting collection with a fee to pay. He'd then waste his time travelling to the post office to find out that it was just a demand from me. The first one he paid for the rest I have no idea, but eventually I had £50 appear in my bank account and a PM on the forum to 'please stop'. It cost me next to nothing and him lots of wasted time.
  14. How about trying Sead at supermirrors, I hear he's responsive and he's active on the forum.
  15. No, I've not heard. Why not drop a couple of the TD's a quick email. If anyone knows it should be them.
  16. Assuming you're EU, why not contact SSteel in Fnland and I'm sure he'll be able to fix it.
  17. @hetlijk2 you should really listen to what is being posted here. Your expectations are far too high, you do realise that you are not dealing with large corporations, yes? You have found the rep forum consisting of gentlemen members, if you were elsewhere you'd have been thrown to the wolves and would either have been banned or have left disillusioned and of your own free will. Now, rep watches are great, they offer the experience of a high end timepiece at a fraction of the cost. However there are several caveats that go along with this. Do not expect an AD experience. Never, NEVER use Paypal dispute. Accept that the watches can and do go wrong and you'll be needing to get things fixed - you won't get a 12/18/24 month warrantee. You've had, what I consider, great service from Toro and Micky, so just suck up the costs and mark it down to the cost of rep ownership. I guess the initial price of buying a rep is only part of its ownership. Many people factor in a service when buying a new watch. I was going to say maybe you should by from M2M, but I for one would be apprehensive about dealing with you. Temper your expectations and you'll get some nice watches and will enjoy the experience, if you don't you'll soon get frustrated and leave.
  18. What our TD's provide is a safe method to buy a good quality replica watch at a fair price. These guys are out to sell watches not to hold your hand during the purchase process. If you want an AD experience then go and visit an AD. Toro is a great dealer who stands by his offerings. You are lucky to have found this site to assist you. Now sit back and accept that you are paying maybe 10% of the price of a gen for 95% of the quality. If you're uncomfortable with this you're going to be unhappy and won't stay long in the rep world.
  19. Looks great, even better with your photography skills. These are fantastic value for money too. Wear her in good health my friend.
  20. Nice catch. You're right, there's something special about a gen. Looks lovely.
  21. You do indeed sir! I'm thinking of a ceramic insert from a new Seamaster, but will have to see if (a) I can source one and (b) if it will fit a PO bezel. I have a gen gmt so I'm not too sure about what to do with this one. I sent it to Micky as an alternative to the closed factory case (lose the Seamaster fart valve).
  22. There are a lot of what look like vintage gen Omegas on eBay. They are usually quite cheap in pawnbrokers and watch stores too. I bought a couple of vintage Sesmasters; one full gold and one gold plated for around $1600 for the two. If you want to buy from eBay just make sure that there are plenty of photos - which you can post up on here for members to critique for you. Make sure they contain a clear movement shot too. Here's mine.
