  1. I saw it...and passed. For $200 I know I will be disappointed in some detail or another and then dump it in the forum for $150....if I find a buyer. My opinion is that unless your are buying the ROO's or the 15400's in the $300-$500 range you will disappointed. Aside, can you pull off wearing $45k watch in your circles?

Is that a hair in the first photo>?

Look over the movement to see if you can locate where that washer ring has came from.

No. That is the balance spring outside of the balance. Somehow it was mangled by the rotor and is severely bent out of shape...so much that the balance wheel will not gyrate. I cannot find a location of the washer ring. It was just sitting in the caseback when I opened it. I did look but to no avail.

  3. Sadly, my LV Hulk has appeared to have died today. It has the sa3135 movement.

Second hand will not move.  Hands, date, crown and stem are all ok. There is a slight clicking and resistance in the neutral position....I not push it to avert any further damage.

Experts....what are my options to get it back in order?

I already emailed Andrew at Trusty to see what he can do.

  4. The Portuguese is a favorite.  I wish I wore it more.  It's summer now and I am wearing the Inge, and LPP chrono more along with several Panerai's on Nato.  I have a white Nato holding a Pam114 for a full white effect.  Any formal event, I take the Gueser...of course!

  5. A repair split is fair and reasonable in context of doing business with members here.  For example, I sold a piece that was damaged in transit and offered to pay for or source a new part. I also forwarded the USPS receipt so the buyer could file an insurance claim of $50 if he so chose.  The member was pleased that I offered to remedy the situation quickly and ultimately never took me up on the offer.  He found an extra part in his parts bin.  The receipt of services rendered should be sufficient given your 96 feedback score.  With a rating like that, I know you are not out to graft someone for a repair job.

Perhaps provide your repairman's contact information so he may personally verify the issue and services rendered?  I don't think the pictures, whether taken or not prior to the repair, are the issue.  Good faith dealing assumes you found an issue and had it resolved....therefore a good seller will acknowledge this point and cover half of the repair to make the piece operational.

Looks great, and the 7th is centred in the date window, so its either a different watch from your QC or the dates become left justified when they get up to the double figures, best to check?

Great catch, SSTEEL...I rejected the earlier QC and approved a new, 2nd model. In short, I received a new piece from the stock. All dates look good in the window. The double digits, of course, take up a bit more room in the cyclops!

You know, I may order a second one for reserve since these are so damn good!

    Here is a morning shot.

  7. It's here...and looks great. The green bezel is exactly the same as 508's photo. I'm just so impressed. Period.

Andrew from Trusty (ttw8488.com) was most helpful in making sure it was a true v6s model. No mixed v5/v6 business...! He is fine TD in every way based on my experience.

Shipping was incredibly fast....3 days via dhl. Talk about service...!

Took the wrapping off, removed -2 links, gave it a light wash and put it to use.

    Enjoy the photos.
