  1. I just picked up a cheap 42mm PO in the trading zone to get the feel of the watch and see how it looks on the wrist before getting a 'real' rep. Everything is great so far with the size and looks, but I cannot get the bracelet to fit my wrist. Right now it's a bit too big and slides around too much for my liking, but if I remove another link it's too tight! I know they make half links for these bracelets, but this watch didn't come with one. Are there any places to get one and what should I be looking for? The bracelet says 1502/825 on the inside of the clasp, but would a gen half link even fit the bracelet? I was also thinking about the rubber strap for it, but I've heard they are very long and wouldn't suit a 6.75" wrist. Any ideas?
  2. Silix charges $35 + $16 for shipping. So any more than that would be unreasonable I'd say.
  3. Firstly, I'm a new user here. I don't currently own any reps, I have a PAM destro homage that's as close as I get. I've done some modding and watch repair on some of my other watches (dial and hands change on a Seiko, and repairing keyless works on an ETA movement in a RADO). I recently stumbled upon the silix specials page and saw the blue submariner that they have. I think the watch looks OK, but I'm interested what the options would be for modding it down the line if I get tired of the all blue dial and bezel. I'm not interested in going 'franken' or anything, but maybe throwing a Tudor dial and snowflake hands on it would be nice. Since it has the generic asian movement what dials and hands would fit it, or if I later put a better movement in it what would I need to do to make it fit? I'm assuming the insides are pretty basic (plastic movement holder etc.) would the case be able to use a real movement without modification?
