After getting my supper avenger at the end off last week, now I'm hooked! I want a larger face rolex and it looks like the DSSD is exactly what I want. So my question is, whats the best DSSD out of the box for looks, cause I've read several different companies make different models, and also which TD would carry that model. The only TD I've had experience is Andrew. I prefer one as close as you can get to "perfect" without a lot of mods, cause eventually I would like to venture into that area, just not as a beginner. Awesome thanks for the replies! I'll have to check those other sites out. You mention to go with the Asia movement over the Swiss, but does the Swiss have a smoother second hand? Maybe it's just me, or the different moment all together but the Super Avenger I got has the Asia 7750 and it seems like the second hand will have a smooth sweep for about 10-15 seconds and then have a small stutter or pause a beat then keep going. Maybe it's just my watch. I know the V2 has the 2836-2 so it's different. And forgive my new-ness I know it looks like I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Well, my Super Avenger came in today and I'm totally impressed with it, the weight and feel of it (besides the bracelet) is amazing, but I read other people say the bracelets weren't that great so I expected that. Thanks for all the replies and help guys. Already looking for what to order next, I think this could develop into a problem for me haha. Thanks again!

Anyone have any experience with the V2 steelfish from Toro? I was looking at more dealers last night and noticed this one on special. My Super Avenger should be here some time this week I'm guessing, since it shipped from Andrew on Friday, but thinking this might give me a slightly smaller option to wear if it's decent quality. Those are awesome looking watches, I definitely like that first one a lot. These are the photos he sent of the one I'm getting, can anyone see anything that stands out as bad? Like I said I didn't really know what I was looking at but it looked good to me.

Thanks man, The Super Avenger is what I ended up ordering from Trusty Time, he sent QC pics to me yesterday and the watch looked good to me (I honestly had no idea what I was looking for) but I guess it should be shipping out any day now.

Thanks a lot for the link! That definitely helps. I wasn't necessarily looking for people to say "buy this watch" but more looking for personal experiences like "I bought this and it wasn't at all what I expected" or "it was exactly or more than what I expected." I've read some posts where people say they liked the watch in the picture but they got it and the bracelet felt really flimsy, or problems with the bezel and things like that. You go to the dealer sites and there are sooo many watches, I was just looking for a way to kinda narrow it down. I read on one post, I can't remember in what subsection, but they said to look at the "date added" on the product page to get an idea if it's a newer or older model, but like you said, some of them have post dates of 08 and 09 with no newer models on them. Hey everyone, I'm new to the board (and rep watches), and first of all want to thank everyone for all the great information on here. I've spent the last week after joining looking through old posts trying to do as much reading as possible. From looking at watches in general I absolutely love the look of Breitling, which leads me to my question. To those of you who own them or own multiple Breitlings, which ones are your favorites or ones that you would you personally recommend to someone who doesn't own any? I'm not asking about where to buy them or TD's because I've spent days reading posts about that, I'm asking about the rep watch models themselves. Probably the most I'd want to spend on an individual watch is around $400-$450. That's what got me into researching reps in general because I'm thinking I can get a LOT more options in reps than spending 10 grand on one gen. I love big watches, they fit my arm better in my opinion, and I just love the look of them. The watch I've had for years is an Invicta Subaqua metal band I bought specifically for the size (and it was on clearance), but I'm tired of it and think it's time for me to upgrade to a "big boy" watch. So any recs close to that size (I think it's 50mm) would be great, or if you have any recs of larger watches made by other manufacturers that would be awesome too. I'm asking ya'll because I live in a pretty rural area, and from what I've seen online, I think the closest AD for me to actually try on a Breitling is about two hours away. But anyways I'll end this novel of a post, I'm excited to be getting into reps and having found this board, and thanks again for all the great info! D
