Hi guys I want to start a 16xx or 16xxx project and have no clue where to start from. I will put what questions have in my mind, first i would like to know any 16xx or 16xxx rep case is good? because they are all same size 36mm. I have seen many gen dials, crowns and glasses for sale but not many cases, in fact just one 18k white gold which is not affordable. So basically I would need a case set, glass, movement, hands set, crown and stem, bezel and a bracelet am I right?. will all these gen parts fit in to a rep case?. When looking to buy movements (quick set) which one should I be looking for? cheers

Hi was thinking to pull trigger on rolex datejust 2 but can see any reviews of this watch. I was interested in white dial ss jubilee bracelet with a7750. what you guys say ? Is it worth spending on this watch as a dress watch or should I choose a different piece in this price ($200)? Also I might in future try swap the movement and dial with a gen.

there are other blue dials on ebay as well and they dont have all these confusing things cc33 has mentioned above. they price difference is about $40-50. Also the seller of this dial which I have posted has a feed back score of 140 and the other seller is over 3000 feed backs and lots of watches and watch parts on sale. As doubts have been created I would scrap this dial and keep looking but would still like to keep this thread alive for just a bit comparison of these dials. Wish I had like the dials with arabic digits which are much cheaper though
