At 44 about just right as I do not like overly large watches for comfort regardless of what I can wear with my wrist.
I second that 100%

Anything Rolex has value to the right collector, try to search on eBay for similar items or check the Gen Rolex forums, Catalogues, Wall clocks, displays etc. are all part of sought after collectibles.

Very Very nice
Very nice work!! I like this one better than the Project X. This really looks like Vintage meets modern, but better proportions.

Great work, Akira, I love the tropical and 1680 most, but a lot of care and attention to details in every one you posted. That's art.
I want a 6538 so bad...

Yes I agree, I would stay away from gold, how about a Milgauss?

Max maybe more cost effective to but one someone is passing on.
I could always salvage the desired components and upgrade along the way... the only problem is they are hard to find for sale too

Thank you SSTEEL.
Before giving away $1500 for a case I want to make sure is going to fit the rest of the build and most important that I like the end result. Yuki offers the best bang for the buck at $780 is quite expensive but still affordable. The more I read about Big crown builds the more questions I have LOL

Thank you Mike, I've emailed Phong to see how much would be the damage, I'm also considering Yuki's 5510 case. I'm kind of confused about Phong because I read several mixed reviews about his business... I need to gather more info for sure before jotting down the part list to purchase.

Hi,
I joined the forum few days ago, and so far I've been busy reading a wealth of information about one of my favorite topics: Big Crowns Subs.
I used to own a gen Sub in the 80s but sold it in 2001 to finance another purchase and regretted doing it ever since.
Now I'm just gathering information for my 5510 build. Who wants to chime in with suggestions is more than welcome, I've seen amazing watches posted here and would like to own a decent one since I plan to wear it every day.
thank you for having me here

Milgauss, I'm ready to pull the trigger but, which one to choose?

I've been considering the purchase of a Milgauss with green sapphire crystal. I've come down to 2 sellers:
Perfect Clones and Lawrence Watch.info
They both sell a Milgauss GS version with a Rolex caliber 3131 copy with roughly $100 difference in price.
I need help from you experts, since this would be my first rep purchase, in finding out if it's the same watch they both sell or there are any differences and if, which one is eventually better and worth the extra $$$.
Here are the links:

Thank you so much for your help and knowledge.
