  1. Happy Birthday speedracer61!

  2. My wrist it right about a comfortable 8" so from what you both told me I should be fine! Thanks for the info.
  3. In the past I had gotten an IWC from Toro and the strap was way to short. Now I see he has the Rolex Pro Hunters on sale and for the price I figured it was worth a try. This watch has a bracelet so if it is too short you need extra links, which Toro can provide. I send a message asking the bracelet size so I will know if I will need links or not and all I can get is that it is same size as "original". Has anyone bought a Rolex from Toro and have an idea as to the bracelet size or know the size or "original"? Thanks
  4. You may be right but you are naive if you think China doesnt have a large stake in all of it. Remember where all these watches are coming from? Sure the Chinese government may not "sanction" counterfeiting but they do little to stop it besides a few raids here and there to keep up appearances. In Kunming China there is an entire Apple knock off store complete with knock off electronics and Apple badging! Or how about the Silk Street Market in Beijing! If the Chinese government were really trying to police counterfeiting in their country it couldnt be much easier than this! But back to the original point I dont see why Noobfactory would be unable to produce a website when other Chinese companies have complete Apple knock off stores on the main streets! Now I am sure the Chinese government would never "sanction" such commerce but sorry I think it goes well beyond just "local" corrupt officials and police. I may be wrong about it all, its just my opinion and in the end my questions were answered, thanks to all. http://www.businessinsider.com/most-counterfeit-goods-are-from-china-2013-6
  5. Acutally I did, I tried to search the topics on this forum and was having a hard time finding an answer. Maybe I was not searching with the right keys or something but I wasnt getting much info, so I asked! Guess that is part of being a Newbie, we all have to start somewhere.
  6. You maybe correct but I didnt see much difference in all the TD's who have a website and Noobfactory having one. They are both selling the same thing anyway you look at it. Plus as you said they are in China, no one is going to do anything to them for being counterfeiters, it is a major part of the Chinese economy, hell even the Chinese Government is the largest counterfeiter of US currency in the world! lol
  7. Looking at a Noob Factory Rolex that is offered with Asian movements 2813, 2836, 3131 and 3135. Besides the price what is the difference? I also assume that if the swiss movement is available and the funds are available that would be the best choice, correct? Last question, what is the Noob Factory web site address? The one I found is extremely simple and I know there are a lot of fake site out there. Thanks
  8. Thanks for the info, I guess I am between a 7.5 and a 8 and I can see where Chinese measurements might fall a bit short. Do people usually just replace the band with any quality band or is it best to look for a matching factory replacement?
  9. I would really like to have one of the Pro Hunter Daytona's in black and was wondering if anyone else had one, what they thought, what dealer has the best rep, etc.
  10. Not sure where to find Dan Miglores page as I would like to see the conversion table! Thanks
  11. It appears my wrist is about 8" and whereas I have seen some really nice bands out there it would be nice to have one that has the original markings. I am sure I can probably search and find gen bands I just wasnt sure if there might be other options. I was also just wondering if anyone else had this problem and is it something you try to address when you buy the watch or do you just accept the fact you are probably going to have to buy a different band.
  12. Just got my first 2 reps a IWC and a Bell & Ross and whereas both watches are nice, the bands are too small. I don't have large wrist and most off the shelf watches and bands fit me fine. The TD says this is the only size the offer but I hate to change to a band that doesn't have the appropriate markings. Not sure what might options might be and if this is something that is normally taken up with the dealer before the purchase.
  13. Just got my first 2 reps, a IWC and a Bell & Ross and whereas I like both, they both have bands that are too small. I contact the TD and they said that is the only size they come in but I hate to put another band on that doesn't have the appropriate markings. I don't have large wrist and most off the shelf watches fit me fine. What are my options here? Is this something I should address when buying the watch and maybe ask band length? SORRY FOR THE DOUBLE POST, THOUGH THIS ONE DIDNT GO THROUGH AND NOT SURE HOW TO DELETE IT.
  14. Welcome to the forums speedracer61 :)
