    Why not go for a gen?

    This one looks pretty good for my taste. Anyway, went for a gen Quad 10, so no more need for me to get this one ;)

    no way I would ever spend as much on a watch as the IWC costs. (even if it's relatively cheap on the after-market)

    however, I went for this baby here:

    A 39 mm watch being too small....what's the world coming to?

    I can't wait for the "pocket watch on a strap" craze to be over. Legibility issues in tool watches aside, I hope the meter swings back to a reasonable 42mm compromise. I like chunky as much as the next guy but a dial that looks like a saute pan is just silly looking.

    The IWC looks like a beautiful, classy, UNDERSTATED piece of jewelry.

    full ack to everything.

    the mark XV is a holy grail and uniquely understated, good looking, and perfect in size.

    thank god the reps are getting better.

    It''s a sports watch which is why it has a quartz movement. Mechanical movements may not be able to take the shock of a golf or tennis swing.

    This is probably the only quartz I would consider, for that reason. I'd want it as a sports watch.

    yep, kind of a 1000 dollar g-shock. i like it. especially the buckle idea ^_^

    i wonder if the consistency of the rubber strap is right, it is said that the gen has a quite unique feel.

    If it's ok for the online shops you could pay them directly and let the item ship to one of the members is one willing to help you out... so only the shipping charges have to be transferred...

    As beeing in the country netx to you i'm not very helpful... but i'm sure one of our members will help you out... maybe the next time you could do someone in the sates a favour...

    to cut a long story short,

    FOR AGES, i'm searching for a decent quality black m65 army jacket in small LONG (i'm 193cm and only 80kg) but you just can't [censored]ing get one in ye olde Europe. so i mailed half a dozen american online shops but NOONE wants to ship to Europe. so here's my idea:

    I ask a kind member from RWG to buy one for me online, get the money from me, get it shipped, maybe rip the bill to pieces and write "happy birthday al" on the parcel, ship it to Austria, and get electronically hugged from me.

    of course, i'd pay a compensation for the effort.

    secondly, it's clear I'm not a widely known member here, so there'd be a risk for you. basically i'll take any measure you want to reduce your risk (as long as YOU are a known member).

    i have a paypal and a moneybookers account, WU would be quite annoying and expensive but i'll do it if necessary.
