I'll stick up for Corgi ,
Up here ( Canada ) most of the people working in a jewelry store are minimum wage earners and basically know nothing about the things they are selling , it's just a job ..
Now show it to the watch smith or a jeweler and that would be a different story ..
Also most big dealers here are in a mall so that makes a difference , walk into a Rolex or Omega dealer that has their own store on the street with a rep and that would be a different story too ...
Now show a sales women diamonds and she would find the smallest flaw but with 'mens' watches not much to worry about here ..
Most people here when they think of reps or fake watches think of those cheap tin crap jobs they sell on the street for 5 bucks and are easily fooled by the high quality of reps we have , just stay clear of the jeweler and his security camera Corgs

I too have never heard of Trump Vodka but I like Caesars allot ( clamato juice ) and they make one at a bar that I just luv and tried to make it the same way they do but never got it right until I asked "what kind of vodka do you use ?" and they said "Alberta Pure Vodka" , it doesn't have that licorice taste to it so that's all I drink now , crisp & clean and goes great with a good cigar

My question is how does some customs officer even know it's a replica? Do they have a serial number database? Do they have an authorized dealer on standby 24/7 to take apart each watch that arrives and verify it's authenticity? There are many legitimate watch stores and dealers in places like Hong Kong, are they just going to destroy every watch that comes into your country?
Ya think about it , you just ordered a $30,000 Rolex and it comes through customs in a cheap cardboard folder with no documentation like said above and it's from China , that's a no brainer ...
The real Rolex would come with it's own security guard I would think plus not to many people would buy a $30,000 Rolex online ?

Not sure if this'll work on the chrono, but I have the SMP GMT and all I did was sit my watch in front of a warm window with the sun comin' in for about 10 min. and then slowly slid the insert into alignment. The heat melts the glue just enough to slide it with a little force. Looks almost like a different watch lined up right. Hope this helps
I'll be damned , I bought a second SMP chrono for my brother and his bezel insert was off by maybe a millimeter so I heated it up and just slid it into place like you said and it worked fine !
My watch was way out in the groove and I doubt I would have been able to move it that far but I wish I would have tried that first ...
Good idea !

The only difference that I found is that the bezel just will not pry off without damaging the watch so I did it another way and that was to heat up the bezel and insert with a blow dryer and then stuck a sewing needle in between and pried the bezel insert up just a bit enough to get a toothpick in and then finally get the thing off without damaging anything ..
Cleaned off all the old glue and I siliconed it back on in the right position ...
If you do damage or scratch the bezel insert as it's just made out of anodized aluminum you always have the option to buy another one from eBay , that's what I had planned if I ruined mine but I was lucky and it almost fell out once the heat got to it ...

If you can see the screw on the other side use a pin pusher to push it out ..
Some get cross threaded and stripped in there and won't budge so just push it out if you can or use a hammer and block to hammer it out ...

Do you mean that you want to become "verified" so the money will come out of your bank account ??
If so this is the only way you can sell on eBay so I guess it's a must ..
I have been verified for years and so far no problems with it , just another way of doing banking ..

Stay away from the Cohibas with the glass top boxes , their nothing but sawdust , hair and donkey manure !
Cohibas where never wrapped in plastic or in glass top boxes , tell me , does the glass top box have a little bottle of water in it , if so I have friend that bought a box and they were sitting out in the sun , the top layer was 3 shades lighter than the bottom and there was some kind of sprayed in cedar cent stuck in the box , what a mess !

hey
sorry for being new lol
just ordered my second rep the other day and was checking the ems site for an update.
the wording of the information given has my mind buzzing
it says that my item was collected(city of guangzhou) at 2007/04/06 19:19
i don't know what it means by collected, i don't remember the last shipment from EMS saying this.
so is this normal wording or should i be concerned?
thanks all
EMS sucks period , once your watch reaches CDN soil you can start tracking it through Canada Post's web site ..
It will come in through Vancouver and once you see it's in Richmond BC that's their sorting plant and it's on it's way ..

I don't know what it is with these Omegas but there is a problem with at least one screw being too tight ..
The last two I bought both had stripped screws in the end links on the outside of the bracelet both in the same spot , the rest were like butter ..
If you ever get one that is stripped like that and just spins or is hard to turn give it a little spray of WD 40 and if it still won't budge use a pin pusher if it's striped and that will push it out , then use a new screw ( from another link ) with a little loctite on the threads and you'll be all set ..
The pin pusher and new screws worked well for me !
