To me, interestingly enough, I started with the super reps......Omega SMP, Breitling SOSF, and the like........and then purchased a TT Sub.......now I know I really shouldn't have, it just didn't satisfy me......oh well....live and learn.

Agree.
I would even bet this is not a new poster (or a new guy ), but just a new nick to someone who cut some poor figure here.
What a nice way to turn a word..........especially considering what the jerk said in the first place to put us all down..........we are a polite lot aren't we?

If anything, I just want the odds stacked in favour of the buyers and not the dealers, knowledge is power.
here, here..........I agree 100%

Does anyone else read "TriosLescano" and think Tatiana Troyanos?
(That was the extent of my commentary. Sorry, that's all I got)
ms barrett could you PM me?

So I just pulled the trigger on a two toned swiss 2836-2 sub..........I

It was asked before, and Admin replied that when we upgraded, the anonymiser went kaputnik. He didn't exactly say if and when it would return. I think it's invaluable and really basic to have one here, so if he's reading please reinstall it?
Here is an anecdote about my interest in military watches:
Once visited a friend of mine, and her USAF husband in Pensacola, where he was being trained as a future F-16 or F-15 pilot (I'm sorry, he did tell me the correct plane model, but I can't recall. I do know either the 16/15 is a USN-only plane though. I forget which), despite it being a US Navy base.
That would be a F-15

Anyone order the Tiger Woods black dimple quartz watch?.......I saw this one at the AD the other day and it looked alot better in person.....I know its quartz, but, just to wear to the golf course......anyone?

You're bound to get loads of Panerai suggestions, so let me get the 183 out of the way right now.
Other than that, you've got Datejusts and loads of other ETA-powered non-chronos. What's your taste run to?
I guess you could say I'm NOT a fan of full gold or diamonds....I tend to like intricate designs (dials with texture) and ......classic lines........other than that, I'm open to just about anything.

Ok......so I'm looking to buy a rep in the 200-250 range.....dress.....not too sporty......but one that people will have a bit of 'wow" factor when seeing it on the wrist.....want swiss....but......will settle for the new 7750 if its the only option on said watch....I've mostly went Omega in the past, but want to try something new this time....so, what'dya think gang?

Never been to Vegas. Everything I know comes from second-hand sources like my parents, or reading Frank Sinatra's biographies BUT...
Suggestions
You need a workhorse watch. Omega UPO will do.
You need a bling-bling watch. Breitling SOSF seems closest.
You need an elegant watch. Railmaster. Wear this to Tourneau in the Bellagio.
Have fun! Always bet on black 28.
Never been!.....one place everyone must go before their end......just spectacular in many many ways.....I like your choices V....now, about that 28 black.......

Okay, so I'm going to Vegas tomorrow for four days, and I need suggestions. I will be going to a nice restaurant one night, and possibly a show another........casual clothes the rest of the time tho......I have in my limited collection: Omega Seamaster pro black...Omega Railmaster XXL in SS on brown leather......Omega UPO....(kinda like Omegas I guess).....Omega AT in blue face SS....Breitling SOSF in blue face SS....and last but not least....Chopard Grand Tourismo white face with black rubber.........so I know you guys (and gals) have opinions,....so lets hear em!

Then it was, "ok, this is the last one."
And Jesus H. Christ almighty, now it's "anything but the Yachmaster II"...

I, who have had little to say here, whilst reading this site for the past several months, have not only been informed and amused, but, astounded and surprised at the level of information and intelligence displayed here. I for one could not go a day without reading this site.....as I have unfortunately found out recently with the bug a boos this site has been experiencing. I couldn't get on the site yesterday and I....I felt sad!....that in itself may be troubling, but , the people here give me pleasure and informative entertainment daily.....so, don't go away, come back, again and again....I need you......

As Ryyannon once quoted, "Les gens heureux n'ont pas d'histoire",
As a language challenged American (including english), Miss Barrett please translate?

I would not buy one at that price
I would not if it were twice as nice
I would not wear it 'round the house
I would not give one to my future spouse
I will not put it on my wrist
A few more lines and you'll get my jist
Keep your HBB, Sam I Am
I think I'll buy a green Sub and Pam
[/quote
Thanks for the laugh, we need it at these new prices.........

Cheers

They both look good to me!.....congrats..........By the way, has anyone ever bought a rollie for their girlfriend/wife? If so, what kind, and what seems to be a good way to suprise them with it!
Anyone got this Aqua Terra limited edition?

Unfortunately, the white faced w/gold markers is incorrect to the gen. The markers should be RG, not YG. Still...it's a fine looking watch with the leather band.
