I have a gen gmt 2 and it has the hole at about 1. Its where the click spring locates.

Miyota Royal Oak this fine spring morning

$10k to spend on a watch. This would NOT be it.

I think there are some lovely design details on these Apple watches and I hate to say it but this might make watches 'cool' again. Surprising how many people stopped wearing with the surge of the mobile phone. So I guess in a way Apple are entering a market place that they helped to damage.

I'll be watching these things closely but I shan't be getting one just yet

I didn't know about this flaw but yes I guess there must be a reason, tbh I think in reality surprisingly few people have heared of the AP brand let alone would pick up on a 1mm difference. My boss collects tags (not my thing) and classes himself as a bit of a watchy and he had never heard of the brand. In a way this is a good thing as I don't look like a £20k watch guy and wouldn't feel comfortable wearing a recognisable £20k watch as its an obvious lie.

I can pull subs off and seamasters but not APs

Incidentally same boss nearly grabbed it off my wrist today at work he was amazed. It's nice to just wear a damn handsome watch for the sake of how good lt looks! APs have got arty design sewn up
