Sorry but this image made me chuckle. I think i've been lucky with my few reps. I think i'm gonna stick to EU forum members for future buys. My last package got seized and released and was not packaged up properly after they opened it. In fact all of the bubble wrap was discarded and the watches were loose in baggies. Luckily no damage

I've waited since the 2nd for a m2m watch from Germany and it's still not left Germany according to DHL tracking. This timescale is taking the p155 let alone the timescales sending to china. I agree that the reps we buy are bloody expensive and shouldn't be pot luck. If they cost £20 you could expect it but not at £300, they should work at least

Oh my god. After walking away twice I have finally resized the bracelet. The bracelet itself is sweet it's the pins. They are made out of some sort of soft cheese alloy and are indeed a pig to work with. If you grip them tight to pull out they flatten and bend. Use a pin pusher and wd40 plus mole grips but don't grip them too tight. A shame for a $300 watch I'm sure some will get trashed in the process.

Anyway it's been worth the aggro. Great watch. Love how flashy it looks on the wrist. Sort the garbage pins out though noob! The worst watch I've ever had to resize by a big margin.

I find there's a slight technique to using the balls.

 

Take the ball so about 2/3rds or 3/4 of it is in your hand, use your fingertips to squeeze the remaining ball so that you get a small bulge out of the bottom of it

Out doing some bits and pieces in town today and came across some rolex watches in a top end shop, most new but they also sold some pre owned watches. There was a preowned datejust watch in there at £2900 same watch as my replica. I went in there and had a look at watch held it examined it just out of curiosity and compare to my replica. I could not tell the difference same look weight markings etc. The lady left to go get me catalogue of watches they sell leaving me with the real watch in my hand and my own replica on my arm ......................

I have a box with cushions and they were loose. I tried a few things but foam or bubble wrap that runs under each cushion and up the sides works great. You can't see the strip if you cut it right, two pads doesn't work too well so one strip that goes down one side, under the watch bracelet and up the other side, I would show a pic but the wife is in bed and I don't want a black eye

And the "50": should 5 and the 0 be so further apart from each other?

Super critical points. Date looks a bit low and pic 4 and 7 it looks like the rubber strap is splitting a bit?

I'd be more concerned with the strap if I'm reading the pics right. It could be a seam/ join though...

Hour markers are wonky, date wheel is ok. I wouldn't wear an iced out rolex rep personally but this looks presentable. If you are pulling good money why not get a gen?

Myota keeps coming up in my research. I went for the v6 which is J(something) and it is magnificent. They myota sounds like a good plan. I will wait till payday to buy this beauty

Since I got my safari amd fc v3 I am hooked wit ap's aswell. I will get the blue dial myiota soon only thing you should pay attention to is the logo on tha dial cause it's often crooked. Except from that it must be a quality piece

Well as the title reads breezed in the high end mall in my travels today and hit some ADs. Tried on Tudor Pelagos was underwhelmed , nice watch but looks to muck like so many divers I have. Did notice one thing while looking at Rolex subs and Tudors, SELs on Rolex were dead on the Tudors well excellent rep quality on the fit and I mean one of our best but I have seen a few of ours that good. (a lot of watches pass through my doors) In truth was looking for the BB in blue wanted to see the Gen color on the bezel so I would know if the rep was close, no joy not in yet they told me , soon. (two months) Oh and the explorer II well the gen looks so much better , the black was stunning or should I say more understated then ours.

 OK across the way Omega, most models in window so just studied them, one more beautiful than the next. It was fun to see so many that we talk about in the flesh. Would I lay down that much for one watch, the debate rages inside me even now. Was just on Joma almost pulled the trigger on a Omega speedy Schumacher but stopped myself, this happens a couple of times a week. One day one day............................

I just don't know if I would spend that sort of dough on a watch even if I had the cash, I've collected 9 reps (2 of which are in transit) for the price of a middle of the road used planet ocean. I'd much rather have my reps. Quantity over quality? There ain't much in it to me when it comes to look and finish. I was at a rolex ad (just window shopping). The 3 people I was with were wearing two gens and a rep datejust and even from display distance they were all the same. If I was rich I'd blow the $10,000 on a jet ski or some shares I recon!
