i have one of those portable gold plating machines for gold plating emblems on cars and such. The gold LOOKS good but its thin and impossible to build up any thickness. Doesnt work well for jewellery but its ok for emblems and display things that arnt actually used. I am interested in the rohdium plating and i will have to check into this site thanks!

yeah theres a lot of dough there thats for sure. i know there have been big problems with scammers selling replica ceramic HBB's as genuine there... I guess it depends what you are wearing when you go there.. If you had a Breitling Steel fish then you are prob ok. I wore my old explorer II when i went to costa rica only because i didnt care if i lost it or not. I wasnt concerned about getting robbed becasue it was a poor fake. I wouldnt want to wear a rep to Italy though as apparently its illegal just to own them there. search google and find out laws for counterfeit good there.

I think this watch is fantastic and one of the best GMT's i have seen!! Who cares where its from. If its good then its good and this one is very well done. you just have to look at the case serial number to find out if its from the noob factory or not.. F520117 is from the "Noob factory"

LOL yep!! I personally HATE straps but the panerai is one of the ONLY watches that can get away with it IMHO. Im a vintage Rolex guy so just buying this Pam is a big step for me haha. In all honesty i will prob never even wear it. Lonnie

Anything looks better than a brand new shiny leather strap on a watch IMHO. I cant even wear a rep watch that looks new becasue it just SCREAMS "replica". ALL watches need to be "Nanuq'ed" as the saying goes.. As soon as i get my fiddy, its getting stripped down and thrown into bleach and my washing machine inside a small plastic jar of coins until it looks 30 years old. I dont care if its correct or not but i guarantee its gunna look "more real" than a shiney new one. I know a vintage 1950 is incorrect but oh well. I build my watches for me GO VINTAGE OR GO HOME! haha wheres that new Vintage section anyways?? LOL ps - check vintage army surplus stores for REAL ammo straps and leather items like that. I have a store near here with a goldmine of items like this.

Excellent post my friend!! The Zigmeister is a true professional and the work he has done for me is first class all the way. As he says, its soooo important to know your modder and know the work hes done and search and search some more before sending your watch to someone you dont know. There are only a few people on this forum i would trust to handle my watches and RBJ from the other forum is not one of them. I think the new RWC is better than the old RWI .. RWI is all drama and bullshyte lately and smart ass coments.. RWG is where the knowlegable people are and thats why i live here... RWI is kinda like being back in highschool again if you know what i mean. RWI down = no big loss

yeah i usually leave my watch in my car... except for my DRSD. I showed to my my AD rolex friend and he was like where the hell did you get this?!?!?! He was convinced it was all gen except for a movement and bracelet swap LOL. He said it was probably a flooded watch with a replacement ETA movement. I told him what it was and he said he has heard of these crazy frankens but had never seen one with the corrrect 1665 case. They usually get datejusts frankens but nothing this fancy. He even wanted to buy it but i said no way!
