Just wanted to share the great work that@Ado213 did for me recently.
Taking my very beat up TC and giving her a complete service, drilled lugs, installed open 6&9 Dwo and basically giving me my grail watch.
Only thing left is to replace the dial one day but no rush. Loving this.
Thanks again@ado213
Honestly though if anyone ever reads this thread I cannot recommend this combo strongly enough. Particularly since attaching the Tudor buckle it’s fantastic. Only issue is still not having the properly fitted endlinks. As anyone who owns one of these will understand, the holes for the springbar is very near the ends of the lugs. This means that whenever you use the leather strap or other options the blank and ugly walls of the watch are on display. My current set up decreases this problem but still if someone knows anyone who is capable of making a set of custom jubilee endlinks for this I’d be very grateful. Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkSorry for quoting myself.. above^ Anyway so I found a somewhat satisfying result by just pinching the end links together. Still think a custom full size endlink will look better Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So I’ve had a love hate relationship with my first ever gen purchase a Tudor Black Bay Red with Rose logo and tonight I may have solved (at least temporarily) my issue with the way the watch wears. I’ve been wearing my seiko diver that has a pretty comfy jubilee and I tried it on the and it fits ok well except for the endlinks of course.. Anyone know who would be best person to reach out to??
