Sorry my lugholes case is not tt, it's stainless. The rep end links I have are stamped "455", none on eBay UK at the mo, I might have to monitor the situation.

Just got a bracelet for my gen case Rolex dj from riyi002, but the end links are a bus ride out, much taller to suit the modern non lugholes dj case (I have a non lugholes tt with one of his bracelets on and it fits perfectly, the side profile of my lugholes case is much slimmer.

These are the only ones he can supply sooooo... What are my options? Are rep available or do I have to scour eBay for gen endlinks?

Looks a great out of the box rep this, how does it compare fit and finish and 'feel' to your TC? I daily a TC at the moment but do like the look of these.

Well that's what I'm after, I'll be picking my gen gold linen dialled datejust this week from my watchmaker, he stripped it, I 'softened' the edges of the rep case, and he's reassembling it and aligning everything nicely for me.

It deserves a better bracelet than is currently on it, so, where do I go guys?

I agree with all of the above! In the UK that merc is a 1000 to 2000 dollar car, so goes perfectly with that watch!!

If it's a friend I bore them about rep/Franken/gen watches, the definitions and the subtleties which I'm fascinated by, because they are friends they tolerate me and politely wait for me to stop talking!

I've never had anyone else ask me. If it was someone who seemed genuinely curious I may well talk to them in the same way as a friend, maybe even refer them to one of the sites. If someone asked in a confrontational way I would not be polite, whether I was wearing a gen or a rep makes no difference.

I only wear reps that are believeable for me, Rolex and Panerai, stainless steel, a nice strap too I think makes a massive difference. I was recently looking in the window of a panerai ad and mine looked more real than all of them due to my lovely handmade strap! I saw a young lad wearing a full gold rolex datejust 2 yesterday, one glance and I thought GTFO!
