The 2nd order went just a smooth!

Hi!
Here the summary:
1. communication: ok, in simple English. He replied emails with 24 hours and slightly longer over the weekend.
2. Payment via pp; as I like it
3. Shipment/packaging: very well packed parcel
4. Quality: a one day checking is better then nothing, but an extra day or 2 would have been better! At least he seams not to be a drop shipper!
4. Summary: smooth and issue less deal, maybe soon again! Just like it should be!
Regards,
TFDM
P.S. As this thread is worthless with out pics....pics will follow! This is NOT the PAM231 I am selling, this one does not have a dagger swan neck!

Hi there!
I am looking for pics and then the referring links to straps in the size 26/22 (27/20) for e.g. a PAM 231 or 183. I have checked the normal PAM strap dealers but need some more input beyond the normal sales route.
Thanks for sharing your pics and links!

Hi!
Try this: Let the chronograpgh run until the sec-arm is at 8. Then stop it and press reset! This sometimes help! Give us an update if this works!

Nice collection! But need some GOLD watches!
-
Hi there,
This is not a sales thread! This a pre-sales thread
-
Hi!
I want to down size my collection! Instead of putting up watches that nobody wants, I thought maybe I can inform what many of these have to go besides the gens (5th pic, the 4 watches on the top from the left).
Send me a PM for the watch you are interested in and I will put up a proper sales thread and this way keep it with the board guide lines!
Is this okay? I hope so! If not, please accept my humble excuse!
Thanks!

Hi there,
I am looking for information/sales-purchasing/durability experience on watches e.g. from e.g. Puretime with a Seagull tourbillon hand-winding movement? Anybody bought such a watch/movement from e.g. PURETIME? Or an other trusted dealer, but not the Homer version?
Thanks!
Maybe you even have some pics to share?

Okay, besides the pic discussion what do you think about www.prowatch-polo.com
-
Hi the RG is the same quaility on both, but the redness is greater on #2. Both watches are so different, I would by both again. See lower left! But in both cases you will need a new strap as teh rep strap is #$%^&*()! #1 is 20/18 and #2 is 22/18 for which I bought a RIOS1931 as on teh pic of #2.
-
Then I would assume that there is a LOT of tension when manual winding on those gears and those teeth are bound to wear down or break off quickly
I do not manually wind anyway.....but good to know!
-
Looks like the gears from the winding crown dont touch the mainspring barrel gear o.o
Or am I imagining things?!
-H
What an eagle eye! But they do touch and the crown winding works!

Good day,
ever seen one of these on a PAM case? On pic 1 you can see a pressure point which has a spring behind it. You can press it in and...? I guess it is to release the spring bars (pic 2) which are screws in this model from Watcheden (#31110). They could be quick a quick release mechanism?
Thanks for your input!

Good day,
here a quick review of my first order for an Panerai 10 day, with a independently adjustable GMT hand in RG (31110) with the request to have a strap fitted from an other PAM from watcheden.com (Sarah).
Here the timeline:
1. 25th.06 placed order and wanted to pay via Westernunion
2. 26th.06 received data for Westernunion via email
3. 27th.06 paid order and sent code
4. 28th.06 Email from Sarah, that there was a code mistake in my confirmation email. The The order code I had sent and the watch description did not fit together. I sent a email back and explained the issue
5. 29th.06 Money was picked up by her
6. 02nd.07 received an email with the tracking code
7. 08th.07

hi charged 8 $ for one srew and 45 bucks for a whole strap incl clasp..
So I guess you bought one?
-
Don't people remember when it was found out that one of the participants on all the forums was in fact the CEO of Hublot.
Yes I remeber! But was there ever real proof? Or just gossip?
-
Anyone received this yet ?
Laz
yes! Some weeks ago! It just need a new stRAP (22/18)..The rep-strap is so bad!
-
I think they'd be--legally--on very shaky ground. They'd be buying it--knowing it was a rep up front. The people they should go after are the ones hawking reps as "gens" on the 'Bay for thousands of dollars.
The only other place for them to route out the problem would be the factories that make them in the first place. Going after an end-user is a fruitless enterprise, IMO. (Just like why cops don't arrest someone who has a joint, anymore...)
RSM
Hunting private people selling 1 or 2 watches happened some years ago in Germany... it might be fruitless, but good PR..their margins can allow such enterprises.... but you are right that they should hawk down "gen (rep)" sellers., but prove that you did this on purposes...
Dealing with dealers?

Hi there,
I fully understand that the rep business is not like shopping at WALMAKT
