  1. Fun seeing it unwrapped. Someone had that in safe keeping just for you, looks brand new. Enjoy!
  2. You're a good listener. I haven't seen you post any watch pics in quite some time. The TAG is the only gen there, and probably my least favorite after the Milgauss.
  3. you pop the old bezel insert out by warming it up with a hair dryer and wiggling it loose. Once you have it out, you may need to enlarge the hole to accomodate for the WM pearl (yes from that site @ $10/pc). I will take some sand paper and roll it into a tight little tube like shape and slip it into the hole. Then I twist it around, sanding the hole larger, test fitting the WM pearl until its just right. I affix the new pearl with, loctite superglue gel (the thick kind) or gorilla glue. Remember gorilla glue expands, a dab'll do ya.
  4. The Breitlings are done so well, they're worth the extra charge.
  5. Thanks! You guys make it all worth it.
  6. At least they're reading. Don't know WTF any of it means, but reading!
  7. Its either like you said, Demsels; or its just lip service, or to me the worst is when you make a thread... "My Sub" "after 6 years of work at my machine shop & sourcing parts from across the world, assembly in an underground cave in Switzerland, and flying Freddy for verification, The Zigmeister for assembly, and Ubi for drinks, I have perfected my Submariner. Here it is. (then they post pics that look like they were taken in a studio) The thread winds up with 16,483 views... and two replies. Makes it all worth it, doesn't it? One of which is "what dealer is that from." Guess what the other post is? Oh wait, none of you are even reading this [censored].
  8. That's something else. What a cool picture. Do you have the original in larger size? I'm surprised this wasn't "Life in Alaska, Part XXXV" Same guys crackin me up as usual. Hysterical thread. Too much to quote every post. Gotta love the Tampa gun show Dems..
  9. I'm a pro at banging knicks and dents into bezels, bracelets and cases if you want to send it my way. For the price its the nicest DRSD ever!
  10. Some of the nicest knives around imo don't cost much more than a good rep. I stay away from cheap cutlery. You get what you pay for in that arena. Why waste the money when good ones aren't too expensive? I'm a huge spyderco fan. I've got two of the most desired pieces, and i'm no rich man. Spyderco carbon fiber Military, BG steel ~$200 Spyderco Bob Lum folding tanto ~$200
  11. knock knock! I've spent way less than you guys. Because I make way less money. Hambone you got issues. But you already know that. My little collection don't look too bad. I've got rid of most anything I don't truly want. "If you don't know what you want, you end up with a lot you don't."
  12. Definitely. With a high beat movement upgrade, a watchmaker.com pearl and shaving the bezel insert down... it is choice. Not perfect, but close and certainly the best bang for the buck.
  13. I wouldn't change anything. Leave that as is and start anew. Would be interested tin what movement they used.
  14. It's the best sub you can get aside from the WM9 BK V2. The movement leaves much to be desired. It's an incorrect beat for a Rolex.
  15. This watch looks fantastic. For about $15 you could install a WM pearl, and sand the insert while you have it out. It sits too high, which I immediately noticed. The bezel lip should be higher. With that simple easy mod you have a killer watch, and I'd be done with it.

  17. The watch that changed it all. Wow.
  18. As long as you go in with the premise that its a 7750 and is going to need a service, out of the box- then DO IT! At the price for these V3's, move the Skyland to the top of your must have list.
  19. That first link is enough to scare anyone away! We were within a degree of a record high for October in Tampa FL one day this month. A high of 84 degrees today, 92% humidity. Nearing November. Then again, it is Florida.
  20. Great work RWGr's. This go's to show how good we really have it. When the top dogs in the hobby have to double take and second guess. Sounds like classification for super-rep status to me. This is a bone stock Skyland V3. This watch is supermodel hot. My favorite out of my collection. Quite possibly the nicest watch I've ever seen, wore, or owned. This watch gave my 16610 a swift kick in the ass off the "I want the gen" throne. Stay tuned for a review thread to come. Just waiting to finish sorting out some details.
  21. I'll let it keep going, aside from u guys that were very general, no ones got it yet!
  22. So how the hell do you manage to do it then? Just kidding, everyones always brown nosing the master for bonus points. I know Rob loves the attention though
