My girlfriend wants to order me a SMP today. This will be my 30th birthday present. Couldn't care less about anything besides getting the best version available, and smooth transaction/service. I've been looking and looking... Kings got bezel issue, silix CG's look horrible, Chris doesnt have any.. In recent communication, Josh (amongst some other board members) state the current SMP he offers does infact have a gen ETA inside. Amazing to see the comparisons. Thanks so much for sharing. The grotesque size of this watch is proven with your pics. I don't think that was apparent otherwise. lug size is very off (in the length), there is the immediate tell. -A- for effort on this, but this one just doesn't hit the mark for me. I'm in no mood to pick it apart, but if I had to, i'd start with the price. Have you taken any mvmt pics? Thanks again for a great update.

BT, I toyed with a new co-axial SMP this week. If there was AR, I didn't notice it. Yours still hits the mark, very nice. So have I, you're not alone if you've recently been looking for a good (non chrono) SMP to add to the collection. I've got reason to believe we may not be waiting too much longer for an update. Just might be some decent versions left out there though. I'm going to see what I can find. Review will follow.

No. Stop buying the Noob mvmt A2813. Wrong beat, choppy sweep.. pieces of [censored]. The new era of copy ETA.. We will see whats to come of it. In the meantime, my suggestion is to stick with them, in a non-complicated form (no GMT, chrono, etc.) Sorry about your luck. Chris (Eurotimez) your dedication to us has not gone unnoticed, at least by me. I look forward to working with you sir. It's nice to see a collector actively participating in our community. It speaks volumes, and your offerings look better and better each time you update. Now find me a great SMP.

You'll see them when you pop the back off. Don't pay attention to the ETA text in these pics, but if you look at 12 and 7 o'clock, those are the tabs and screws you will remove. This mvmt is not going to look exactly like what you will see, but you get the point. Follow the directions posted above and you will be fine. When you put the stem back in, gently rotate it, don't just push it in. And when your pressing the button to get it out, it won't POP out, you will have to pull it out.

Well said, I agree. Every one of us is free to choose for themselves what they are willing to pay for. The dollar has little to do with it. I don't see the prices coming down with the switch from gen ETA to copy ETA. If the quality has changed, why hasn't the price?
