    He's our neighbor up in NH on Lake Sunapee... he is *never* dressed like that haha. If you see him out and about during the summer he's wearing shorts and a t-shirt with sandals predominantly.

    I just picked up the olloclip 3-in-1 Macro adapter. I am curious to see how it goes, but I figured I'd need it to keep ya'll happy when the masterful 5513 is back together!!

    Thanks! I am beyond excited. Watching this come together, learning from mistakes, trying some of the mods myself, selecting the pieces, working with these genuine craftsman we have here in our community... it's all made it truly very special. For what is typically, if found, a $35,000 to $40,000 watch I will have the same (pretty damn close) for a good bit under $5k. I couldn't have done it without you guys, and also seeing many other members immaculate builds that egged me on to do better. I'll post pics as soon as it's back together.

    I'd been considering a macro lens, like 50mm F2.8 for my Canon. I'm thinking I'll just get the macro Olloclip http://www.olloclip.com/product/iphone5-macro-3-in-1/ considering it will be infrequent that I use it.

    RE: FM... Sure, almost any Rolex or AP ROO... not to be a dink, but 99% of the broads you'll run into will have no idea what that is... I know what it is, and no offense, not super impressed by the brand.

    Wearing the Maranez on an upgraded strap. You have no idea how many people are like "Uh is that a 'Pan-uh-ray' man?" I'm just gonna start slappin' n00bs in public. I do love this watch though, and I love Cali dials.

    No there is not a single one, and it's normally why I shy away from them - however, this one is pretty damn good - probably in top 5 rep movements with display-back. I wear this watch off and on, nobody has ever questioned it - it's a great watch and keeps good time.

    I cobbled together a bracelet today using a gen 93150 clasp and generic links, I have gen end-pieces on the way. Still working on stamping the links. I also ordered a nice olive strap from Worn and Wound that is Horween leather, it's pretty distinct looking and I think it'll make a good match, also have the single-keeper Nato style from Hodinkee that is Horween Shell Cordovan. 3 good strap options for when it goes back together.

    ScotchWatch has a lot of genuine parts - including date discs... What are thoughts on the rep date-wheel? Do we know if the gen date-wheel will work in rep movement?

    Working on putting together a great 9135 bracelet as well. Ordered the rep links, and a genuine clasp. Sourcing gen end-pieces and will have bracelet stamped and aged, should come together nicely.
