Glad to see some posts on this topic - I'm disturbed at the # of sales threads I'm seeing lately without tagged pics and cavalier attitudes of members toward the rules. I know I may be a really rule focused person, that's part of my personality disorder, but they are in place for a reason.

I'm really lucky that my dear brother has a full metal shop. I'm just learning as is he. Our father was a really damn fine amateur machinist, but he sadly passed away in 2007 and I was too much a donkey to spend any time with him in the shop... now that I realize how cool the knowledge was, and need it, and want to learn he's dead... sucks. and he was an absolutely amazing guy and we rode motorcycles together and such, not like we didn't have a good relationship. Don't mean to be woe is me.

Very hard to tell with photo's that poor / small. This wouldn't be one of those things where you try to call celebs out on fake watches would it? Shame on people that do that.

I'm the big fella in the middle and we used 1.3mm which works like a charm.

Since I'm not shy, here I am at work - and once I figure out how to stop breaking bits, we might offer our services. There's a shaper, lathe, milling machine, press, grinder and lapper in this shop owned by my brother. I'm in white t-shirt in the middle.

Thank you! With the setup we have the only real danger is $15 bits snapping off.. I get them from MSC, high speed steel, carbide / tungsten mix, 1.3mm We set the milling machine to 60 revolutions, very very slow speed, actually as slow as it goes.
